I would strongly caution anyone booking here for business travel.
I had two separate reservations tied to a work trip to Labrador in June. Upon arrival in the area, I realized I never received a confirmation email and could not recall which hotel I had booked. When I called this hotel directly, their staff told me they had no reservation under my name. Based on that information, I booked elsewhere.
Despite confirming on the phone that no reservation existed, the hotel later charged my credit card a no-show fee. I never checked in, never stayed at the property, and never received any service.
The most frustrating part is not the policy, it’s the lack of accountability. If a hotel cannot send a confirmation email and cannot locate a reservation when a guest calls, charging a no-show afterward is unreasonable. There was no follow-up, no attempt to resolve the issue, just a charge pushed through after the fact.
If you are traveling for work, especially to a remote location where options are limited, be very careful. Keep screenshots, confirmations, and records of every interaction. If something goes wrong, you may be left paying for a room you were told did not exist.

As mentioned, the rooms look a little outdated but, the bed was modern, clean and very comfortable. Front desk service was A1. Almost all lodgers there are fifos and are respectful about the noise level since we could hear the neighbours. There was no noise heard at bed time nor in the morning.

Went out for birthday supper, ordered the royal steak and felt like a peasant. Ordered medium rare and the first one came out well done, mentioned it to the waiter and they said they’d bring me a new one. Second one came out blue rare, basically just seared and sent. Would not recommend getting steaks here if you go out for supper

Have been going here for about 20 years. Service and building hasn't changed at all. Nice for a brief stay but the main thing is this is normally the easiest place to get a room
Food and drinks: McDonald's is next door. Food in hotel is good. Other food options near by as well like subway.
