I can't say enough about this place and the people working there, we were there this past weekend for a funeral and they went way out of the way for us, they even opened up for us so we could have breakfast. Thanks Leon for your hospitality, and entertaining us with your music and song.

Went there after winning a meal & the staff was very accommodating. I had the chicken burger with fries, turned into poutine, a glass of milk (which was the best I’ve ever had) and a treasure chest. It was amazing. The chicken burgers outer crust was better than any I’ve ever had. I don’t know how they did it but it was so flavourful and crunchy and the inside was THICK. It was not like a processed flat chicken sandwich. It would be amazing just on its own even without the bun!!! The onion rings in the treasure chest were very good too. They are probably my biggest craving there! Their gravy is homestyle as well and brings back a lot of nostalgia. The prices are fair for quantity. I had leftovers for 3 days!

We're home for a visit, and we can't get enough of the fish n chips! Absolutely delicious, and very reasonably priced. Excellent food, fantastic service, and a friendly atmosphere. Wonderful spot.

Solid food if you like a fish and chips type spot. Expensive, family of four cost over $80. The staff are fantastic. The place has VERY limited seating and a bar next door that just attracts people to the lotto machines. If they could expand the seating and brighten it up a bit, it has potential to really be big.

Parking: Small lot and people just seem to park anywhere.

Visiting from Ontario and we had LISA as our server. She was AMAZING AND SUPER FRIENDLY. her humor was uplifting and her demeanor always bright. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. 10/10 would recommend! Stop on thru for some grub bys.

We enjoyed dinner at this Marystown restaurant while visiting the Burin Peninsula during our trip to Newfoundland. This is not a "fancy" restaurant, but we enjoyed the simplicity and comfortable environment in addition to the Newfoundland food. The service was particularly noteworthy. The staff was very friendly and the person who appeared to be the owner or manager spent several minutes talking to us about the area and things we should see while in the area. The friendliness stood out even in a Canadian province that we found lived up to its reputation for friendly people. The prices were very reasonable as well. There were numerous take-out ("take-away") orders being filled while we were there and I suspect most of those were local residents.

Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff and quiet restaurant without pretense.

Parking: There are multiple shops that share this building and its parking lot, but it's a large parking lot with plenty of room.
