Bergs Famous Ice Cream

Great local spot for ice cream. Lots of selection.

The service here is always fast and the choices are abundant. This place gets very busy in the summer time but there's never a shortage of ice-cream despite the long lines!

I normally get the Iceberg (equivalent to a McFlurry or Blizzard style treat), and the options are quite good for what you can add to it. They have a variety of toppings, and each item is very flexible in terms of what you would like to add. Hot fudge, various chocolate bars, sprinkles, nuts, candy - you name it!

This location is also much cleaner than the CBS location. The building inside is well kept; however, the grounds outside could be improved upon. There can be lots of garbage littered about the picnic area and it seems like both the gas station and Bergs share the responsibility of debris. It makes sitting outside on a nice day much less enjoyable. There are no seating options elsewhere on the premises, so either sitting around the garbage or leaving are your only choices at this time.

If you like ice cream, and find yourself in the Mount Pearl area, you won't be disappointed with this shop; especially since it veers away from the traditional, standard items you normally find at fast food establishments.

The Ice Cream 🍦 was actually good with a nice choice of flavours but it goes down hill from there.I got a waffle cone 2 scoops and it was 10.34!😭. For some ice cream that’s crazy

Also no place to sit.Me and my sports team came here after a long game and we just wanted to sit down but we couldn’t.

One of the best ice cream spots! Lots of options for flavours and toppings, and they can turn any flavour into a milkshake ! I can't wait until they open for the season!!

I heard they have the best ice cream, so I went out of my way to them and got their specialty ice cream of the month which was their Nanaimo iceberg. It had chunks of Nanaimo bar in it which was fantastic. It did take them a while to make it because it was hot outside making them very busy but it was so worth it! Definitely great ice cream, they live up to their reputation.
