King Cod Fish and Chips

Great feed of fish and chips.

The food is freshly cooked when you order. it's not sitting on a rack to be re- fried again. The food is delicious. 100% I woukd recommend this place. The staff is very polite and professional. This is my first visit there, and I'm sure I'll be back again.

First time eating here and just ordered two pieces of fish as i didn’t want too heavy a lunch. The fish is amazing , large portions fairly priced, check this place out you won’t be disappointed 😋

I had ordered a fingers and fries today to give this place a try. All I can say is that it was it was awful. Fries went in the garbage. They were cold, tasted hard and disgusting. Pure old grease taste. Fingers were not that great- small and weird taste. Won't be eating from here. $30 in the bin. Very disappointed.

I ordered Cod Bites and Fries and was my order was for eat in. When they brought my order I looked at my fries and they were very dark. I tasted them and they were definitely overcooked. I brought them upto the counter and told them the issue. Well the cook was not too happy and said well I can make some half cooked ones for him. I said never mind. Shortly after the waitress, who was very nice, brought another order of fries and said they weren’t cooked as long as they normally would be. They tasted fine! The cook was very rude, no apology just said to the waitress that they weren’t burnt and made me feel very uncomfortable for Bbringing the issue to their attention.

The place is loud, I guess because you're right next to the open kitchen. The ventilation inside is very poor. Smells like old grease, and the smoke from the fryers was overwhelming. The fries were dark and greasy, but yet still too firm on the inside. The fish was ok, but nothing I'd write home about. Prices are comparable, but next time I'll go elsewhere.

Service wasnt bad or good but no real communication after order was placed to see how our meals were , I find this place is hit or miss , fish is good sometimes or it’s overcooked other times fries are burnt up every time I been there ,Prices are great tho but last two times it wasn’t that great not sure if it is new cook or oil hasn’t been changed out that is the issue .

Best fish & chips in the metro area - hands down! Everything is perfection! Highly recommend. I’m just waiting for them to announce they are opening more restaurants because the place is always on wheels. Deadly spot!

Great portions, gravy wasn’t made from scratch, tartar sauce was. I think for 2 people pricing was good. Only thing, they forgot to add our Pepsi! Honest mistake tho! Seemed like a nice place to eat in. Was satisfied with the service and the quality of the food. 5 Stars ⭐️

went in and it smelled like old grease and floor was greasy. thought it was just bc it was lunch rush but after getting a bland poutine with the worst gravy i've had. was quick tho i guess

So far this is the best we've found, some restaurants give you 2 cod bites and say that's 2 pieces, not here.
