I do not live in St. John’s, but travel there once a month. O Sushi Is the place that I eat every time I come into town. I ordered the salmon set/Combo and find the salmon roll some of the best I’ve ever had. We moved from Vancouver last year, where there’s a sushi restaurant at every corner and have been eaten sushi for almost 40 years. I had it yesterday and can’t wait for next month to show up to have it again.

I'm really happy that I finally check out O Sushi. I've had every other sushi restaurant except this one, and this one is easily in the top three. Highly recommend!
I was the only one there around noon on Monday and had the place to myself. Service was nice. The atmosphere is pretty neat. And, the sushi and presentation was really great. The spicy mushroom roll was my favorite vegetarian roll. The seaweed salad was a rather small portion for the price though, so I'd skip that and add another roll next time.
The menu doesn't include combos like at other restaurants which I thought was a bit odd, but the server offered 15% off as they had a promotion on at the time which was great.

I came in with with three people and let me tell YOU, anyone leaving a bad review is WRONG, the service was absolutely impeccable my glass of water never hit the bottom furthermore the decor was just impeccable and the food to price point ratio was immaculate me and my posse left with full stomachs and happy faces, we WILL be returning!

Sushi was fresh and delicious. Chicken app with the “Swicy” sauce was a great try. A little concerning the guy in the back was clearly cutting veggies into a bowl on the floor, but he was his hands so it’s cool.

You know, when I set out to review a location I always look into the reviews—especially the bad ones. Some people are the type to rate a location one star if they are dissatisfied with anything. They have no tolerance for dissatisfaction. I think that is the case here. From my experiences this is a wholesome little restaurant with lots of heart and love. It needs to be approached with that same level of grace.
I had the best sushi I have had in a long, long time. The ingredients were fresh and vibrant—especially the salmon. I’m not sure if I’ve ever had better.
The atmosphere was relaxed, quaint, and homey. There is a love of Japanalia, both aesthetically and culturally, with pictures and references from everything from the One Piece anime to Hokusai’s 36 Views of Mount Fuji. They even have traditional noren-style curtains. You almost expect to hear someone greeting you with “Irasshaimase!”
Service was great. A mixture between professional and homey. And the prices were wonderful too.
I suspect I will be back again. It’s a bit out of the way for me but I’ll be looking for excuses from now on. :)

Had an awesome time here with my wife! Wendy attended to us and was so friendly. We loved the fried chicken rice bowl, Dynamite Roll, and Green Dragon Roll— all absolutely delicious. The anime-themed decor made it even more fun. Can’t wait to come back!

Let’s start with how dirty the place was ,maybe hire a cleaner. And when we got our food no utensils To eat it with , never asked if we wanted anything to drink , I had to ask for utensils and still had to wait another couple of minute's . The food seemed old like it been siting on the counter somewhere for a while . Oh did i mention how dirty the kitchen was . I will never eat at this place again . I am surprised because i have eat there in the past and i did not resemble this experience. I believe it’s under new ownership . If the heath inspector seen this no doubt that place would be shut down .i have worked in kitchens . And this takes the Cake .
