Decided to visit because of the glowing reviews. Great portions I have to say. Food wise it’s and different story. Ordered the 2 piece fish and chips. The plate looked wonderful with 2 huge pieces of fish and lots of fries. The fish tasted like it came out of a box. The meat was soggy and textured like mush. Nothing tasted like fish but covered nicely in puffy batter. First time I left unfinished pieces on the plate.

We stopped in Musgrave Harbour while camping in nearby it’s municipal campground. We had such a friendly waitress and the restaurant owner was very pleasant as well. One of us had a hamburger with fries that were safe for one with a seafood allergy! Meaning, they had been fried in oil That had not been used for fish or seafood. Thank you, so much. One of us had fish and chips—- Delicious. Then as we paid to leave we noticed the homemade bakery items. We got a loaf of fresh bread and six small pieces of carrot cake. Absolutely wonderful!
Wonderful place with lovely owners! We ate here four days in a row and enjoyed every meal! We had fried fish with carrots and turnips. They also have the most delicious baked goods to pick up and take home. I hope we're able to get back here next time we're in town.
