Rocky Ridge Diner

Decided to visit because of the glowing reviews. Great portions I have to say. Food wise it’s and different story. Ordered the 2 piece fish and chips. The plate looked wonderful with 2 huge pieces of fish and lots of fries. The fish tasted like it came out of a box. The meat was soggy and textured like mush. Nothing tasted like fish but covered nicely in puffy batter. First time I left unfinished pieces on the plate.

We stopped in Musgrave Harbour while camping in nearby it’s municipal campground. We had such a friendly waitress and the restaurant owner was very pleasant as well. One of us had a hamburger with fries that were safe for one with a seafood allergy! Meaning, they had been fried in oil That had not been used for fish or seafood. Thank you, so much. Wonderful place with lovely owners! We ate here four days in a row and enjoyed every meal! We had fried fish with carrots and turnips. They also have the most delicious baked goods to pick up and take home. I hope we're able to get back here next time we're in town.
