Cozy cafe. Coffee and pastries are always good. Fast and friendly service too.❤️ came here everyday for our 4 days stay in St.Johns, the best for both locations.

The lady at the counter with glasses is unpredictable our interaction was hot and cold from her end, she was pressuring us to make a quick decision on wanting a combo with a cookie or not for who knows what reason, total vibe kill. Will not come back

This coffee shop is amazing! I always get the caramel iced latte and the turkey club with cranberry added, and it’s incredible!

Scott and his crew at Coffee Matters are second to none! I recently ordered their box lunch for a work event with 70+ people. We have many folks with dietary restrictions, and not only was everyone accommodated, everything as absolutely delicious. There are options galore, and for catered lunches, it’s definitely the best bang for your buck in town. They also deliver to you, making everything a breeze. I couldn’t recommend their services enough!
I had the turkey, avocado and pesto sandwich which was absolutely delicious. As well with the iced coffee, scones and danishes. 11/10 would definitely recommend. I will be back again!! ☕💗
Scott is a nice guy. Best service ever in the Western world.
can't really speak to the food (it smelled great, tho), but it's the Coffee that Matters, and that was spot on! The service was quick, friendly and not pushy. Cosy place, but it is located at what can be a busy intersection; access is easier from Karwood

Prices are fair and it is such a nice place. I highly recommend :)

I ordered cod au gratin today. The picture showed in a glassware with real cheese melted on top. Well what I receive was a cardboard dish with 1/2 inch of cod gratin in it and on top was three melted (by microwave as container not oven compatible ) 3 triangles of processed cheese slices. I was very disappointed as the price was around $9-$10 for the dish. It looked like the prepackaged cod au gratin you can purchased at the supermarket . It was nothing as the picture here on this site in your photos from March . I am sorry but I don’t think it was adequate especially with the picture that is displayed in store. Thank you
Nice place, good coffee, nice desserts.
Had a flat white and it was terrible unfortunately.
