Went there for a family dinner on a Saturday afternoon as we had heard good things about them. The atmosphere was cozy with decent space between tables. There’s a good selection of tasty food. The staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable if you have any questions about your choice of meals. The delivery and presentation is very good, staff are attentive but don’t hover, a quick nod to your server and they are right there to help. The food is very good and you get good portions but bring your appetite! A nice spot for an upscale home style meal!
Atmosphere is great. Never seems open tho, I've tried 3 times during their posted hours and it's been closed every time
The food and the service were very disappointing for our Valentines dinner. Certainly not worth the price!
The Woodstock Sunday brunch has seriously fallen from what it used to be. The website lies about what is served now. There are no beef or pork ribs or mac and cheese. The breakfast items would be ok as an included breakfast at a hotel, but for $40 they should be ashamed of themselves.
No rush to go back. We were there for new years eve supper. Service was horrible, food was cold, nowhere near the $200.00 it cost.
Took nearly 3 hours to receive all our food, certainly wasn’t worth the wait. I was surprised by a mandatory 18.5% gratuity that was thrown on the bill without notice. 6 people is not a large table, sorry. Quite deceptive, especially when the service barely warranted a tip whatsoever and the food was not worth the price or the wait. Won’t be back.
Went to the Woodstock for early New Years eve supper. Food was just okay, vegetables were practically cold. Services was slow. Way over priced! Atmosphere was overcrowd.
Not in a rush to to go back.
Was some of the worst service I've ever received in the metro area. Took over 3 hours for our table to finish. Waitress was standing around not doing much and not checking tables. Two of our apps were forgotten about completely. We were charged an automatic gratuity on a table of 6 people, which is not an overly large table. Our bills said it was a table of 7, so I think the automatic gratuity kicks in at 7, so we were billed as a table of 7 so we were charged the automatic gratuity. This is speculation though.
And the food was terrible. Scallops were under salted and bland, ceaser salad wasn't good either. Also ordered the pan fried cod and the batter was too thick and hard, and again, underseasoned.
Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Plenty of better places to eat in the metro area that are much better for a better value.
We booked Woodstock for a family Christmas meal, choosing the three-course special for a table of six on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The food was bland and very under-seasoned, with two members of our party not even receiving their appetizers. It took an hour for any food to arrive, and dirty plates remained on our table throughout the meal. Drink service was poor—no one offered refills, and when someone asked for one, the server didn’t check with anyone else at the table.
The service was frustratingly slow. We waited over two hours for our main courses, making the total meal time more than three hours. To make matters worse, an automatic 15% gratuity was added to our bill for a party of six without any prior notice.
The one positive was the cozy and inviting atmosphere, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the lackluster food and poor service. I wanted to love this place, but sadly, it was a disappointing experience that I wouldn’t recommend.
This was my first time here, and I was a part of a corporate party. The most important thing I loved about this place is the atmosphere. It's very old and felt authentic. The food was excellent, I must say! The service was great too. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend coming here!

Nothing to complain about the food it was decent but the service and atmosphere were amazing. We didn’t like our drinks, still we didn’t say anything about that but the server noticed that and didn’t charge us for the drinks. That was a nice gesture.

Beautiful, relaxed atmosphere with live soft piano music made the evening enjoyable! The food was great and although it was quite busy, the service was wonderful!
If they had roast beef, the chocolate fountain and didn't throw away the Pope's nose of the turkey( if ya don't know it's the turkey but) I would have given it a 5th⭐

Had dinner in The Sterling Room upstairs at The Woodstock, smash burger was delicious, as were desserts. Was quiet on Thursday evening, but great atmosphere due to surroundings. But pricey, but good.
