Best fish I ever had . The batter is so light and crispy. It’s beyond perfect. The fish itself is delicious white flakey god cod!! Great home fries. Beautiful spot. And very friendly staff.
Small low key place, food and service was good

If you are visiting Placentia, Dockside Pub is a great spot to dine. Overlooks a lovely Marina overlooking Northeast Arm. Spectacular view. Food is excellent. Music is amazing!! Service is superb. We'll be back.
Service is just too slow. Don't open the whole place up if you can't keep up...

Had a lovely dinner on the patio here as a pit stop on our way back into St Johns after being in central NL. Food and drinks were delish and affordable. We really enjoyed the cod bites and the Dockside Cocktail. The real highlight was the friendliness of the wait staff 😊 Would recommend and would eat here again!

Stopped in for lunch before catching the ferry back to NS. Sat out on their deck overlooking the water and harbor. Beautiful. Folks were friendly and kind. Good bar menu and standard pub fare. Wings looked good but we had Dockside (turkey) sandwiches. Took about 20 minutes for the food to come out so be patient. Sandwiches were good fries great but still took a long time. Served apologized but seems that is just the way it is. Parking lot in a curve in the road heading uphill so a little tight but plenty of space once off the road.

Visited during a weekday. Not many people. Service was extremely slow. Had a chicken burger and fries. The burger was bland and the fries were soggy. Hot but not crispy at all. The server never came back to see if we wanted anything else like dessert or something more to drink and I had to actually go to the bar to ask for my bill so I could pay and leave. Didn’t feel comfortable. Felt like we were intruding on the locals there.

This wonderful local restaurant and bar was a welcome, quiet meal after a busy day seeing Avalon. The wings and burger were delicious. The service was friendly and fast. A nice selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. We'd happily return the next time we're in Placentia.

Highly recommend eating here. The food was phenomenal , for anyone who knows me I don't eat seafood. I had the fish and chips I loved it! Will be eating there again. Fast friendly service, you won't be disappointed. Great staff.
