mothers day 2024...had lemon chicken and chicken balls (actually it's turkey) with supper/diner. was like trying to eat a piece of rubber, ya just couldn't chew the darn stuff and it tasted horrible.
The food is good when the father cooks (Yee) but there's not much love give to the food when the son cooks, he doesn't have the same zest for cooking (bland ) and doesn't have the knowledge of how to spice up a meal. Otherwise a good place to eat depending on who cooks
The staff was nice, but it took us a long time to get our food (it was a Tuesday night and there were no more than 3 parties seated at any given time). However, according to my friend, a local, the waiting time was an abnormality.Most members of our party enjoyed their dishes (My friend, a local, likes the tofu and I enjoyed my Schezwan beef). However, my dad found the chow mein to be quite bland (the noodles didn’t even look properly cooked).
