Came by here based on Google reviews, definitely worth a visit. If you happen to be in the area on a Saturday, drop in and buy everything. The cinnamon rolls are life changing! We ordered two and drove away. Five minutes later after sampling them we turned around and bought four more!

At the end of Canada in the province of Newfoundland, a gem of a restaurant that allows us to enjoy hot bread and homemade jams served by local people who have the happiness of all their guests at heart.

Only open on Saturdays and the only bakery in the greater area, this was sector’s the stop. The two ladies in the bakery were extremely pleasant and made us feel welcome. We bought bread (which was excellent), buns, a pie and indulged in a carrot cake muffin that was delicious. Well worth the trip!

Absolutely delicious baked goods. We had the cinnamon bun, the carrot cake muffins, the scones and the multigrain bread. They were all fantastic. I was told by a local customer that the baker also bakes bread for the local grocery stores - which is why she is only open one day a week.

Just working my way through a partridgeberry pie and bakeapple pie that Carolyn made to order. Both are delicious for breakfast, lunch, amd dinner! Thanks, Carolyn!!

We lucked out, because the bakery was open! I can’t describe how delicious the smell of baked goods is in this bakery. It took me back to very pleasant places of nostalgia. It was a hard choice, but I ended up picking Up partridge berry scones. Yum!

Great place for a light, NL lunch - raisin tea buns with partridgeberry jam!

Exceptional baked goods!!!! Don’t skip this place if you’re in the area - the buns were to die for and the hospitality is everything you’d expect from a tiny Newfoundland town!

We visited this bakery, Saturday, August 17th,2019. The items we bought, I have to say were second to none. Carrot cake muffins, tea buns, multi grain bread and boiled raisin cake. All of it was ,I am pretty sure I can say, the best my husband and I have ever had..Will visit again.

The Bakery is wonderful place to stop for a variety of baked goods and pastries. I'm posting primarily to advise they are only open on Saturdays at this time. They open around 9am. So if you are in Port au Choix on a Saturday you should definitely pick up some yummy things from The Bakery. The peanut butter fingers were amazing and the cinnamon rolls were also a hit.

After visiting the National Historic site, we were driving around and came across this small bakery. We were treated to the best sticky buns ever and peanut butter stick. After enjoying coffee and buns, we couldn't leave without purchasing some goodies for the road. The buns were priced extremely well at $1.50 each and the better than peanut butter cups, peanut butter stick was $1.00. Make this place a stop for sure. Hopefully, the shop will put themselves on Trip Advisor and I can comment on them there.

The building is still there but I've never seen it open.
