First impression when we walked in was strange. Locals hoarding the 4 slot machines, the two workers sitting down to a table talking (was hard to tell if they even worked there) & half of the lights were turned off. We had to ask if they were even open.
Once we sat down and ordered a drink, the workers seemed more friendly and it was a lot more enjoyable to be there.
Would’ve been nice to get some food but they stopped service earlier on.

My husband enjoyed his meal, lots of food and good for pub food. Unfortunately only 1 glute free option. Service was mediocre. Patio was really nice though for the sunset.

Fun place. We went on the Kitchen Party night and enjoyed it. They get everyone involved to make it lively.
Food was not good - eat elsewhere.
Super clean, updated washrooms were a bonus.

I understand if ur busy but we waited to be seated for 15 minutes while staff walked by us several times ignoring us. I mean at least let us know you'll be with us shortly or something. Eventually went up to a waitress who was looking right past but ignoring us, to ask if we could seat ourselves. She said yes so we sat down, waited another 15-20 minutes multiple waitresses walked by as if we weren't there. Eventually went to a restaurant next door that was twice as busy, took our order within 5 minutes. Would recommend going elsewhere if you don't have 3-4 hours to eat.
Stood at the entrance for 15 minutes, not one waitress talked to us but all of them walked right by us. Eventually went up and asked a waitress if we seat ourselves and she said yes. Took a seat and sat for another 10-15 minutes and no waitress came so we left.

there’s a great view on the patio and there is live music inside the bar! Always call ahead to reserve because busy seasons they might not have enough seats for everyone! You would think that newfies don’t know how to poutine but their sauce and fries was actually great! The curds is missing some squeak though ;)

If I could give this zero stars I would. We left hungry and disappointed. The patio and atmosphere was lovely, but our server got us drinks then forgot we existed. Never took our food order. We gave up after an hour waiting for her to come back. She walked past us so many times and didn’t look at us while we tried to get her attention. We had to go up to her while she was clearing a table nobody was waiting for to ask for our bill. At this point we didn’t have time to get in anywhere else. Most tables on the patio were staring off into space and waiting long periods for her to come back, but she only had 5 tables. If she’s new I feel awful, but if that’s the case she needs some support.

The absolute worst service in Rocky Harbour. Waited 10 min to be seated even though there were tables available. Once seated the waiter ignored us and served three tables that came in after us. Had to ask twice for a menu, then we just went to another table and asked to borrow theirs. Restaurant owners must be from Toronto, because b'y I've never met a Newfoundlander that could be that rude.

Paulette is the glue that keeps this place together from our observation. Not sure what the other 3 servers are there for other than decoration. If not for Paulette it doesn't look like much would get done. Not a terribly busy evening but she never stopped.

Nice place with good service. The beers are poured nice and tall and the lobster poutine was delicious.
