My husband and I went here for a fresh seafood dinner and were very disappointed. I ordered a lobster dinner and it was terrible. The lobster tasted old. The fish chowder was not very good either. Service was not the best. We will not go there again.

An authentic restaurant serving aboriginal foods. The place is clean, modern and the food was very good.

Very impressed with our dining experience. The restaurant was full so we were sat at the bar but didn't wait long for a table. Although there was a 10 top ahead of us our drinks and food arrived in a timely manner. The lobster roll was amazing but I could have used more rabbit in my stew.
Highly recomend.

For the restaurant We had crab dip, scallops wrapped in bacon , muscle linguine and fish and chips . They were all very good . Good service.

We only visited the restaraunt.

Service was exceptionally slow and our waitress seemed extremely annoyed at our existence. We waited 10 minutes after being seated to place a drinks order, then waited over 30 minutes for food. We were never offered water refills and had to ask for ketchup for fries that were ordered. I wouldn't return.

This is a restaurant review. They're trying...
We stood for several minutes at the front, waiting for someone to approach and seat us - a little awkward. Then, everything was slow to arrive. We visited here because our B&B owner recommended trying them for local dishes. The bacon wrapped scallops were overcooked. The pulled bear sandwich was very good, and the moose sausage pasta was tasty.

I was there 2 years ago in July while on a road trip around NL with husband and brother. So good šŸ˜‹Loved it! The guys had bear burgers and I had the cod. Great food and service. Hubby and I live in Colorado so can’t get back soon but I encourage everyone else to go and write about your delicious meal.

Very poor service, waited, what seemed like an 1.5 hours to have food served. Didn't offer dessert or coffee. Very disappointed

Amazing food and service! Really appreciated that they had gluten free buns that were actually good.

This place was fantastic. I had the pan fried cod with poutine. I have tried a lot of cod here on the island and this was, by far, the best I’ve had. The poutine was divine. Our server was wonderful and friendly. Efficient service and beautiful ambience. I highly recommend dining here. So good!

Stopped in on our way to St Barbe for take out. Service was lovely, facility looks almost brand new. Food was EXCELLENT. My husband got the lobster roll with a side salad and I got the moose burger with sub onion rings. We took them to the arches for a meal with a view and even after the 45 min drive it was so good! A bit expensive but worth it.

We had the Seafood Chowder and the soup of the day with the homeade biscuit. Excellent! Wish I had room for the Lemon Partridgeberry Cake. Thanks to the chef and excellent food! Wish I had more time in Gros Morn as I would have headed to this restaurant twice.

Extremely noisy and the lighting is cold. Should have turned around and walked out but there was little open past 8pm. What made it worse was that a bug crawled out from my salad.

Review updated after the business owner’s response:
Lighting can feel cold or warm depending on the type of bulb used. Cold lighting has a cafeteria feel.

While there was a rather loud table of approximately 10 people next to us, adding to the noise level is the type of chairs used which create a nails on a chalkboard sound when scraped across the floor. Perhaps some felt or something of that ilk on the chair legs should be considered.

The server responded to my issue of the bug in the salad with ā€œthat’s strangeā€. Although she did offer me another salad, I declined as I was turned off of the idea of salad at this point. A discount was provided which was nice but a heartfelt apology from the server and/or the business owner would have been well received.
