If there was an option for 6 stars they’d get it! Delicious fish and chips, warm, cozy atmosphere on a cool rainy day. We dined in, the food came new quickly. 12/10 would definitely recommend!
I've had fish n chips a half a dozen times while exploring NL. Gotta say that all things considered, Jackie's was the best. Gonna stop there one more time before we leave the Rock.
So we just had the 4 portions of the fish and chips. The batter was so light and good however there was no seasoning in the batter or fish. It was so bland. It distracted from the meal because it ended up tasting like nothing. Very plain.
However the batter was overly crispy or crunchy. Just needs a tweak. Add salt and some spices.
