Maybe we are used to Midwest USA meat but the moose stew meat was almost unchewable as was the beef in the hot beef sandwich. Mashed potatoes literally tasted like dry boiled potatoes, no butter or cream or salt
Great views, but overpriced. Had Cod Au Gratin that looked like it was served in a butter dish, and had barely any cod. Thought I had ordered the lunch portion, but nope. Wife ordered dinner salad that was similar to a side portion. The only saving grace was our server. She was fantastic, and basically apologized for the portions.
Great location for a restaurant. The view is, of course, weather sensitive. One can only imagine the vista when skies are clear. The atmosphere was plain, adequate for the purpose of dining. The service was like an early rehearsal for a complex play, a few performance issues that remained to be mastered. Our server was very pleasant despite a demanding workload.
