We stumbled upon Skipper Hot's because it was the only thing open later on a weeknight. Except it really wasn't. But it was. We got there and the kitchen was closed and there were 2 guys sitting at the bar. We were ready to turn around when the woman behind the bar asked what we wanted. This restaurant is a hidden gem, however, a well-known spot to the locals. Friendly and patient customer services, extremely clean dining areas, and bathrooms. Great food. Great service. Even though I didn't buy any alcohol and I'm a tourist they still treated me like a friend! And the food was delicious! I had the moose burger, generous portions for a fair price. I got a newfie steak (bologna) sandwich and wings to go.
