staying in the hotel attached and had absolutely brutal service! I work in a pub myself and know the struggles/stresses but it is no excuse for rudeness…we were hung up on and spoken to in a very disrespectful manner, very unfortunate because we were excited to try out this place but I can confidently say now they will never be getting any business from us, our family or our friends.

I would never attempt to order any food or drink at this pub ever again. We are staying at the Inn attached to this pub and called in to order some food. I was rudely spoken to and hung up on. After calling back to give them another chance the woman who answered the phone said they charge an extra $5 if you want to pick up food (not even delivery!!). I am extremely disappointed with this establishment. They will not be getting our service ever.

Stopped in on Friday with family and was served three warm beer. Ordered mild wings and they were more like hot. Told the only waitress thst was serving and she said there was a new cook. Not ok I will take care of it. Sent the beer back and when I looked at the bill they were charging us.

Great food and place, but that one server named raven white? Very rude. Shouldn’t even be working there (everyone else is great), but yeah she Wrongfully accused me of being someone else who’s an underage drug dealer and when I told her “no wrong person”, she kept telling me I was wrong (I am of age). then got petty and embarrassed because she was wrong, and told us to leave bc my sister was under age and needed an actual parent rather than a guardian to be there with her when my older sister was the guardian and was there with her… And come to find out she was rude to everyone else that night.

Stopped here on our way to Port Aux Basques to the ferry and was looking forward to trying this place. The servers were friendly and polite, but I had to get up a couple times to ask for things while we were eating. I’ve served off and on for years, so I understand when things are busy, but it wasn’t that busy at all. We had the fish and chips, but the cod fish was bagged pre-battered, frozen fish…not local or fresh fish. That just blows my mind…why aren’t you guys supporting local fisheries? We also had an order of wings, but they were cold and drowned in sauce. Likely because the sauce was dumped right out of the bottle onto the wings. There was enough sauce to coat about 2-3 more orders of wings. Huge waste. The food was disappointing, even for typical pub food. I still tipped 15% because the ladies who served us were very nice, but would’ve tipped more if I didn’t have to get up to ask for things. It’s too bad because we were expecting better from this place after reading the positive reviews.
