The Post Taphouse Reviews
We just had the pleasure of dining at The post Taphouse this evening, New Year’s Eve. The decor was so cozy and intimate, music at just the right volume to allow conversation, server was friendly and very professional. The food…can’t say enough good about it. Fabulous! Nowhere in St. John’s area tonight could food be any better! Compliments to the chef and staff! Thank you for a memorable experience!
Myself and hubby went for a drive and ended up here for early supper yesterday… I had the best seafood chowder ever!!!! And I order chowder everywhere lol… and 1/2 Greek salad was delicious! Husband had chicken clubhouse and fries and was completely satisfied!! (His a big eater.. lol)
We both had Quidi Vidi beers and the choice was amazing, servers and service was wonderful! We will be back and would recommend to others!!
Had a wonderful birthday meal tonight. The clubhouse sandwich and beet salad. It was delicious. Great service and the live music was fantastic. This place is such a great addition to Torbay!

The Post Taphouse offers a spectacular view and a great atmosphere, with well-priced and delicious food. The new menu features options like the chicken clubhouse, chicken dill sandwich, and a 1/2 Greek salad, all praised by customers. The seafood chowder is described as the best ever, with a flavorful broth that isn't too heavy or thick. Customers also enjoyed the clubhouse sandwich and beet salad. The taproom boasts an amazing choice of Quidi Vidi beers, and the "Seanic route" pale ale is highly recommended. The restaurant is known for its friendly, fast service and a welcoming owner. Live music adds to the fantastic experience, making The Post Taphouse a great addition to Torbay. Visitors have also raved about the beautiful deck with magnificent views, perfect for relaxing afternoons. Some customers have tried dishes like scallops, cod bites, and fishburger, with many planning to return for these favorites. However, there have been issues with appetizers like calamari and cod bites, which didn't meet expectations the first time but were avoided later. The restaurant has also received feedback about environmental concerns, with suggestions to replace single-use plastic holders with reusable options. Overall, The Post Taphouse remains a popular spot for great food, beautiful scenery, and good service.
