Such a nice little café next to the lighthouse. Was cool to see a bit of history in it as well with the photos of the past lightkeepers on the wall. Had a lovely quick breakfast there with some great staff. Will be back to try more!

Lightkeepers Café is more than just a place to eat—it’s an experience. I met up with long-lost family here, and the welcoming atmosphere made it even more special. The staff were incredibly kind and sweet, creating a vibe that instantly put me at ease.

The setting is stunning: a beautiful patio with views of the lighthouse and ocean, paired with delicious food. I originally stopped in for tea but ended up staying much longer, enjoying pastries and eventually a full meal. Every bite was worth it.

One detail I especially appreciated was the owner’s wife’s murals scattered throughout the space—each one a reflection of the history and charm of the place. The mix of food, views, and artistry left a lasting impression.

This café feels like a hidden gem where history, hospitality, and great food come together. Highly recommend!

Great little cafe with a spectacular view! The staff were all lovely, and we received excellent recommendations of sites to visit on the island with our kids.

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was simple, as kids menus should be

Our favorite hidden gem when visiting the island, we always stop by (multiple times) during our visits home and are never disappointed. The food is light and refreshing which can be hard to come by on the island. It's always delicious and the staff are warm and welcoming. If you're considering giving it a try, you must and you will love it!

Our food was all microwaved. Our meals (family of 4) all arrived at different times. Fish cakes were still icy in the middle when they were served. Informed waitress of this, they took them back and put them back in the microwave to finish “cooking” and returned them. Food quality isn’t near what you would expect for the cost. Stick to the soup, it looked delicious.

A lovely spot on the island! Love that side dishes include fruit instead of just fries. I assume the cabbage rolls were microwaved to heat up, but you can't expect those to be cooked fresh to order of course. Hope to be back next summer!!
