Sunday dinner today was awesome-as good as Moms!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great food, desserts and service. A perfect menu for those who are more limited on what they can eat (such as diabetics). My dad has got very strict dietary restrictions (due to many many health issues) and this is one of the very few places he can actually have a good filling meal. The service is wonderful! And myself, I had the cod au gratin and apple crisp and both were the best I’ve ever had! We will be going back again.

The staff was very kind and friendly. I ordered a two piece fish and chips with dressing gravy. I received a three piece fish and chips. The fish batter was awful and the fish was so small. I’m sure it came in a box From a supermarket in the freezer section, I wasn’t impressed at all. The french fries are definitely store box. They were small and skinny like shoe strings fries from McCains . Cost $35.08 I wouldn’t send a homeless person in there to eat if the meal was free . Save your money and go somewhere else.

Stopped in for a quick bite and tried their seafood chowder. It was very good, with several large pieces of seafood in it. Service was quick and efficient and the view out the window was great.

We stopped in here on our first night in Dildo. A great restaurant with a lot of variety on the menu. The cod is excellent. They had a large dessert menu and the items were made there. It has a nice view of the harbour and the rock formations in the harbour. The staff were great. It is a busy place and has a nice gift shop too.

I’ve eaten here several times , and the food has always been excellent. I’ve recommended Brown’s to several people who have come from St.John’s to eat here . They have all said it’s the best ever.I highly recommend this restaurant.
