“I feel that Twisters is at times underrated. While they may be known for their Twister burritos, they have a delicious new Scorpion Chicken Sandwich I got last time. This time I got their Shredded Beef Burrito with red chile, and it did not disappoint. I also love their hot and fresh curly fries, as they do not have the seasoning that is found in others, just salt. They also serve breakfast all day long.“

“We recently visited Stripes Burrito Co. in Albuquerque for the first time, and the experience was nothing short of impressive. We ordered the chicken strip basket with three perfectly cooked tenders, a side of fries, creamy coleslaw, and a drink. The value was outstanding for the price—generous portions without sacrificing quality.
The food was fresh, hot, and seasoned beautifully. The chicken strips were crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside, showing they were cooked with care. The fries were golden and flavorful, pairing well with the meal. But what truly surprised us was the coleslaw. It was creamy and refreshing and had a subtle sweetness hint that balanced everything perfectly. That touch of sweetness made it incredibly delicious and memorable—something you don’t often find at casual spots like this.
However, the green chili ranch sauce sets this place apart. It elevated the chicken strips to another level. Creamy, slightly spicy, and flavorful, it quickly became our favorite part of the meal. We can confidently say it’s one of the best dipping sauces we’ve tried in Albuquerque.
The atmosphere was laid-back, the service was quick, and the wait time was minimal, making the entire visit stress-free and enjoyable. Nestled right on the corner of Lomas Boulevard and San Pedro, Stripes Burrito Co. feels like a hidden gem we wish we had discovered sooner.

“The taste of the food is subjective for everyone. All I can say is our food tasted great.! It was the rock star that provided excellent customer service that made this a 5-star review for me. He went out of his way to take care of us as the only customers dining in while taking care of a busy drive-through.
