“First time here and it was AMAZING!“

“Can't comment on the food since I didn't try it but their El Mezcalero and Mezcal Old Fashioned are delicious. The latter you still get the smoky Mezcal taste with a little sweetness. The aroma was pleasant to my nostrils. El Mezcalero keeps me coming back. It has freshly pressed pineapple juice, lemon juice, ginger, vermouth and honey that is nicely balanced while still getting the smoky profile of the mezcal. So good that one will be tempted to drink it quickly.

Parking: The parking in front of the building is kinda of narrow but there's more parking on the side, street parking and paid parking nearby.“

“I love Jackie and Ian, they are both great bartenders. Interesting and wide knowledge and selection of spirits and cocktail crafting, delicious shareable plates, and a great playlist. Nice cozy spot for drinks and an upscale snack, and it gets pretty lively on the weekends! There was a DJ last time I was there that really got the crowd going“

“I had a winter espresso martini, which was amazing and risotto with pork belly. I savored every bite of it because I didn't want it to end. Also, I'm gluten intolerant, and the cook made the crispy onions on top using corn starch for me.
I was out of town and plan on going back here when I'm in town next. I also, texted friends that come here and told them to check this place out when they come here.“

“Sunset Grill & Bar is my favorite place to go on Thursday nights. Lots of fun with Charles, one of the best karaoke hosts in town. Excellent food that will satisfy most any appetite. And service by Gracie and Darren will leave you wanting more. All Gracie for one of her signature drinks like the Peach flavored Long Island Iced Tea. So yummy.“

“Our server, Benjamin was new to his position but went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bartenders were so great, taking care of an elderly gentleman who left his card at the bar. The bartender also made sure the lighting was corrected when someone made an error as it became dark outside. We will definitely come back to this location!“

“First and foremost, this bar is fantastic. Albuquerque is lucky to have such an amazing place.

To all the entitled individuals who think it’s acceptable to bring in 10+ people unannounced or without prior consent from the owners: you clearly can’t read and are completely in the wrong. Not allowing groups of more than 10 people is a pretty standard policy.

Leaving bad reviews because you didn’t get away with ignoring basic legal rules designed to keep people safe is immature. Do you drive on the wrong side of the road or smoke on airplanes? Stop damaging other people’s livelihoods because you couldn’t bring in a party of 17—half of whom probably don’t even like you or your pretentious attitude.

For those who can follow the rules and act like decent human beings, I highly recommend this place. It won’t disappoint!“

“I don’t write a lot of reviews but I felt like my service and food on Thursday deserved a shout out. Firstly, Nicole our server was phenomenal. She was attentive, fun and sweet. Service lately has been lacking and Nicole reminded me that good service still exists. Second, the food was sooo good. I came here when they first opened and I must say the food has improved greatly! I know new restaurants need time to get into the grove of things and let me say they have it together. Our food was hot. It came out quickly and looked amazing. It also tasted amazing. We ordered the fried pickles, which were addicting. We also ordered the fish and chips. The fish was nicely battered and delicious. My husband ordered the burger. It was so good. The fries were hot and delicious . We will definitely be back!“
