This post is for amigos in carrizozo nm really expensive 15 dollars for combination plate even ruidoso 12 is the highest for combo and much large portions and chips and salsa come with the meal at all Mexican food restaurants very disappointing no spice to the food sauce flavor not good don't see this place doing well when you can get a combo and chips a block away for ten dollars at least improve on portion size and flavor

We stopped on our way through looking for baked goods, burritos or both. The owners were so nice and we found everything we wanted, lovely pastries, burritos and my favorite tamales! It was obvious they have a loyal customer base and I can see why!

Truly a gem of a place. Best breakfast burrito in town and great donuts. Haven't had lunch here yet but heard it's fantastic!

My wife and I have a cabin in Cloudcroft. We have been looking for good restaurants in Alamogordo. A man suggested Amigos Bakery. We stopped by because he said they have the best tamales. Wow he wasn’t kidding. If you happen to be in town, this is a good place to stop by for breakfast or lunch. The people are very friendly and the food is delicious. This is another place on our list. :)

Is this the best pan dulce that I've ever had? I think it might be. The chile relleno burrito was also delicious.

Traveling back from southern NM and all passengers were jonesing for a breakfast burrito and meneudo. Quick goggle led us to Amigos, a prototypical NM dining joint. Strip mall in a mixed commercial neighborhood along a main street. Standing room only and a non-stop stream of customers. Spicy and warming meneudo, hearty breakfast burritos, and a few galletas later we were back on the road and content.

This is a gem in the middle of Alamogordo. Al pastor is delicious and the baked goods are fresh. I love supporting local spots like this.

Best brisket burrito in town! Service is fantastic. They also have home baked sweets, fresh everyday. I love the fact they also have homemade tamales on the weekends.

The green burrito plate had good flavor and was served hot. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. It’s great to have good food served by a family owned establishment.
