Stopped on our way through Alamagordo. Was sat immediately, friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. Good bread and dipping oil. Prices were great for the quality of food. The Cesar dressing was housemade and had a nice lemon kick! Potato soup was creamy and delicious.
I had the chicken scallopini. The sauce was delicious and the veggies were fresh. My husband had Johnnys trio, subbing Alfredo in lieu of the marinara. Chicken was not freezer ready to cook. Fresh, hand breaded and so crispy. Lasagna was delicious and the Alfredo is fantastic. Highly recommend stopping here!

The dinner and the help was really nice. My only complaint was the size of the portions were pricey compared to its size

Stopped here after a long day of driving and it was great. I loved the old-school Italian restaurant vibe with wooden/leather booths and warm lighting. Our server was incredibly friendly and informative. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan items - I got the make-your-own pasta: angel hair with non-spicy marinara and extra vegetables, which was delicious. Sangria was great too, as was the chocolate lava cake - amazing.

I recently ordered six entrees to go. I ordered chicken and vegetable baked penne and got build your own pasta. The chicken parmesan melt came as chicken parmesan and the stuffed shells looked like an appetizer (cost $18.99). I was charged $3.99 for the two loaves of bread. The shrimp scampi was excellent, but pricey (21.99).

There was maybe 3 other couples in the whole restaurant. But I counted about 9 tables full of dirty dishes still not bussed the whole 1hr we were there. Service waitress was very inattentive, distracted, and forgetful. I ordered spicy shrimp with chicken pasta and it literally had 4 shrimp and a couple of pieces of chicken. Flavor of my husband's sandwich way over oily and gave him rotten lettuce in his salad. Very very bad experience will never come back to this location! 😡

We are glad to have this amazing restaurant so close of our hotel, the dinner special, we enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo, pizza in the oven, hamburger classic! They offer homemade bread and the salad exquisite! The employees are fast and friendly!

Had the jalapeño garlic tilapia sandwich and a strawberry lemonade, it was very good. The sandwich was well made, but could have done without the jalapeños, but good nonetheless.
Not very many people so the atmosphere was good, and the server was attentive.

Not sure where everyone else was going, but this location in panorama Boulevard is the worst. Service is a joke. From waitresses that don’t remember the orders, refilling cups with different drinks, cold food and servers with interesting jewelry in their noses. Took and hour and fifteen minutes to get the food, manager was called to the table for a messed up order and he was a straight up rude arrogant idiot. But keep coming to this location. Maybe they’ll get it figured out. Complete joke. Do not recommend.

Had lunch here while in town for business. The wait staff were engaging and friendly. Had the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was just okay, a different style of marinara. The meatballs were overcooked and dry. The meal was brought put about a minute after our salads. Timing was not appropriate and could be managed better.

This Alamogordo, NM location made our dining out a great experience. Many food services exist in this town (we've lived here since '94) however, the food quality, prompt service (thanks to Chelsea S. and Holly) and dining atmosphere was great. We tried the soup, salad and pizza. Still love the cheese sticks/Marinara sauce, fresh baked bread. You have to dip that in the olive oil and roasted garlic. Looking forward to a return trip. You will not find it priced like our fast-food places. Never put Carino's in that category. Keep up the good work.
