A must try in this area! Loved their pesto pasta and decoration of the building. The price was also fair. Will definitely come back.

Ate here multiple times in a week. One time my group got turned away because they didn't want to over whelm the kitchen. The food is good and the service is as well. The wine is Awesome and I suggest trying some.

Dino was the best waiter! Super attentive, respectful, had all our food out fast and hot. Champagne was really crisp, too. Loved it for a birthday dinner!

This place is so good that we returned 2 nights in a row. Then went back a 3rd time. Everything we tried was not just good but excellent. This is one of the best restaurants I have been to anywhere in the US. The prices are even surprising good. The bread pudding is in the top three I have ever tried. The pi turns of the food are exactly like the actual food you get.

We have discovered this place by chance after visiting the White Sands NP in November. What a great find. We were a group of 5 and everyone was happy with their meal choices and wine quality. Our waiter, Wade, took very good care of us. His recommendations on food and wine were right on target. The restaurant itself is very attractive with good atmosphere and nice décor. Our friends from Europe think that was their best meal during their 3-week trip to US. Comparing to LA where we live the similar quality dinner would cost us 50% more and still might not match the service level at D. H. LESCOMBES WINERY & BISTRO.

We weren't sure what to expect when we discovered this restaurant a block from our hotel but boy are we glad we did! I mean, Alamogordo doesn't seem like the town that would have a winery with a tasting room and restaurant but we try not to judge a town by location.

We walked down the street from our hotel and entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the friendly hostess who took us to our table. My wife and I were traveling with a friend who is quite a wine connoisseur, so we asked him to look over the wine list and he was impressed. They can serve small tasting samples of wine for a small cost as well as flights of 3 wines from their main wine list. We all had samples and then it got serious. Our friend asked for a Syrah and after much searching, sadly they told us they had run out. So, our friend chose another, a Cabernet from their Reserve list. The server brought it and poured it into the decanter to breath a bit.

I wanted an appetizer so ordered the humus and goat cheese plate that also included olives, marinated artichoke hearts and some cucumber slices and grapes as well as some small pita bread pieces to spread on; all very nice indeed! My wife and our friend had the beet salad which was a lively mix of field greens, gold and red beets as well as some roast parsnip shavings.

Our entrees were worth the wait! I had the salmon and my wife had the pork schnitzel, both were very good indeed.

The restaurant is super clean and nicely lit with small spot light track lights. Lots of interesting art on the walls and the wine tasting area looks like a nice place to sit and taste or order a glass of your choice of wines.

There surely isn't any better place to have dinner than here in Alamogordo.

This is the one and only place in town we like to go out to eat too. The food is always amazing and the staff are so enjoyable. We specifically ask for Dino. He is so friendly and makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. Highly recommend and the managers are amazing. The wine is delicious and I don’t buy bottles from anywhere else in town anymore. The wine membership is 100% worth it.

Beautiful and clean restaurant. Very nice vibes and environment. They offer a huge variety of their own wine, and it’s very good. No matter what kind of wine you like, they’ll have options for you.

The service is great but can sometimes slow down if it’s super busy. But super nice servers and staff.

The menu has a huge variety of options and we haven’t had anything we didn’t like. The food is delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Dietary restrictions: Have options for Gluten free pasta. Also very open on their menu on dishes to meet a variety of dietary requirements.

Our server was Dino. He was amazing! The restaurant was very busy due the holidays but he stopped by our table often to check on us and made sure we did not need anything. He was quick to refill our drinks and bread.

Great service as they attended to our large party. The pistachio pesto didn’t have much pistachio though, still good.

I'll be honest, I did not expect a fantastic dining experience in Alamogordo, but here we are. The young lady who served me was kind and attentive ( I wish I remembered her name), the mussels were better than I've had in a long time, and the steak frites was excellent as well. And then a couple young ladies helped me pick a few bottles on my way out. Overall, great food and great service.
