La Cocinita is a gem of a restaurant, known for its delicious food and fantastic service. The friendly staff welcomes customers, who can either dine in or take out. With a large menu of Mexican and Tex-Mex foods prepared fresh, recommendations include the red Chile smothered dishes, the twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, and the excellent pork street tacos. This is by far some of the best tasting Mexican cuisine in Alamogordo. The smothered burritos with brisket and potatoe are a favorite. It is a hole in the wall with some INCREDIBLE food and excellent friendly service. People were great and made you feel right at home. The Brisket sandwich is a standout dish. The restaurant promises a great experience for those seeking good tasting food.
