New American Restaurants in Alamogordo, NM

“Went to this restaurant after a recommendation from the hotel I was staying at. I was not dressed very fancy but I noticed everyone was wearing different things, some were fancy and some were casual. The server was very nice and gave great options. I had one of the pastas and a glass of wine. I was surprised at how cheap the experience was. Not the best wine and food I've ever had but definitely a great choice for dinner.“

“First off the service and staff are great. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. Is fairly priced and well portioned.That said, wife and I didn’t really like the food. The steak is seemingly marinated in something that tastes like a1 or heavy in Worcestershire sauce. I didn’t order any sauce and all you taste is the marinade. I’d much rather have just salt and pepper and the flavor of beef. Also they don’t sear the whole steak but cook on a grill so you get just the grill lines instead of the good crust.Lastly the chicken fried steak just wasn’t good. The breading was soggy and the meat inside was lacking seasoning. We brought 80% of it home.“
