I'm a little late in writing this review. In July my daughter and I were traveling through on the way home from vacation and stopped in Alamogordo for the night. We started our final trip home by having breakfast in a place that reminded us of our local diner. The gentleman who greeted us was so pleasant. We loved that they knew the names and orders for the usual people that came in, and that this was a small town cafe in all manor of being. We ordered the Mountain Man, thinking this was going to be a regular breakfast. We should have split one! It was huge and soooo good! The entire time we were there we were checked on with friendly conversations and inquiries of our home town and our travels. It was a treat that I can recommend to anyone going through the area. Keep in mind their portion size when you order. You get a lot more than you pay for. These are wonderful people!

I ordered a sandwich with zero mayo. The sandwich I was served had mayo, even though the ticket specified “0 mayo.” Someone in the kitchen doesn’t care. Also, their hours are much too restrictive; I’m sure they lose business this way.
