Rude and terrible customer service!
I use to enjoy coming here good food and terrible customer service is an always but sometimes she was nice. I was never there for a chat but for some food. Recently it’s become NASTY. The food the service. Pricing as well. 75 cent for chili oil in a tiny plastic cup. Don’t get it it’s not good anyway. They even sever you wearing sandals. Yuck 🤢

The food at Rocket Buffet is pretty good. I gave 3 stars because you can't dine in, orange chicken is not a buffet item like it is in most Chinese restaurants, you have to order it. Also their general Tso chicken doesn't have vegetables in it. The food is hot and the buffet stays stocked. The cashier is nice and professional. The food taste good. If you're hungry for some quick Chinese food then it'll do. We need more Chinese restaurants in town.

The best food in town in my opinion, large portions, and great people. Locally owned which is a big plus. I've been eating here since I was 2 with my parents and great grandparents.

Their shrimp dish is my favorite. To be honest, it's the only dish I really like. The rest is average Chinese fare.

This is not a buffet, they do not have dine in service. They only offer carry out that is pay by the pound…

We love rocket buffet. I understand the food waste that would occur if they were to be a seat-in buffet in this town. You get what you pay for, and it’s definitely the best Asian food in Alamogordo. The lady at the front always takes great care of my husband and I.

Just know that it's a carry out, not a buffet.

Delicious food every time, always hot and fresh! Pretty casual, you just go in, grab a box, fill up on what you want! Great price too.

It’s not a buffet per se, you can’t dine in. You are welcome to fill a styrofoam container and they charge by the pound. Options are very few and the taste of the food was awful. Overpriced and disappointing. I would not recommend!

This place gave my wife food poisoning so bad that she developed PI- IBS. Please be careful what you pick here. (Mistakenly addressed to rocket city gaming lounge)

Rocket National Buffet in Alamogordo provides a diverse selection of Chinese and American buffet items, offering good value for the quantity. It's a convenient option for a quick and varied meal, with popular dishes like Sesame Chicken and Crab Rangoon often highlighted. While buffets can have their ups and downs, it's generally considered a solid choice for satisfying a craving for Asian cuisine in town.

Sign on the door says no seating inside, which is the WHOLE point of a buffet, only orders to go allowed. Decided not to waste our money on a buffet you can't eat at

Was actually at the head shop next door, not sure why Google keeps promoting me to review. Haven't eaten here in so long the kid that used to work the counter probably graduated high school, I hope they're doing amazing things now. Speaking of amazing, the chicken on a stick used to be fire.
