This is from now on our favorite restaurant to have breakfast at Alamogordo . Porky s revenge plate it’s really good . Burn down breakfast is tasteful , just missed the mushroom and bell pepper on it. Great waitress service . Fair prices, clean and well kept dining area and restroom.

What is it about this place? Is it the food? Is it the service? Is it the fact that we can sit and watch the chefs make our food to perfection in mere minutes and be served within 7-10 minutes. I can’t say. But as someone who’s been all around the country and had many small owned mom and pop breakfast shops, I can say with whole confidence this is at the top of my list now! Who would’ve In a small dinky town like Gordo we could’ve found such an amazing place to eat! Absolutely perfect and coming from Florida I will miss this place every day. I’ve been 2 times in 3 days and would say it was the best decision I’ve made! Would highly recommend and anyone who would say otherwise must’ve woken up in a bad mood already!

Great family diner style restaurant in town for a quick breakfast. Good prices, I got the breakfast burrito which was really tasty. The service was fast and friendly, would recommend!

This was my first time here on recommendation from a family member. I ordered the Mexican Omelette. It was a good portion with lots of flavor. The service is great even though the entire place was packed along with a waiting line outside. I will make an appointment to visit again the next time I’m in town.

As we approached this diner, the hostess (who doubled as a server) was a pro at multitasking; adding countless parties to the waitlist while teasing a patron about the potential wait he face ahead of him for being a Niners fan. She was sharp, good natured, and efficient. Like other reviewers have mentioned, this is a diner with an old skool feel and their staff operate like a well oiled machine in a galley style kitchen behind the counter. It’s a fascinating experience! They have plenty of friendly regulars and the place was packed and yet organized at the same time! Our food was on point (one egg combo, chicken fried steak and waffles) and we left overfull. This place is a gem!

found BLOOD on our napkins wrapped around our SILVERWARE! Addressed it to the “manager” and she became really rude, making it seem like it was our fault? And only gave us $11 off our meal?? The food was good but the service needs ALOT of work. ?????????
& it wasn’t just one napkin it was all 4!

It’s rare to find a breakfast joint with great food and reasonable prices. But THIS IS IT! The huevos rancheros were some of the best I’ve had, and the pancakes had that great malty flavor, served with warm syrup. Just good solid food!

It's good for what it is. Which is cheap and fast eats. If your looking for something homemade that's not frozen and reheated or powder from a bag this is not the place.

Food is pretty good. Service is good. Everyone is kind.
If I could change anything, it would be the smell of cigarette smoke in the establishment. I don't know if they allow the staff to smoke really close to the back doors or what, but the scent was overpowering the other day.
That's really my only complaint
