We stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday. It was full, but the tables cleared quickly. Our server was so friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was really good too. We had a variety of things. The waffles are the thinner kind. The pancakes are not too thick either. The hashbrown was cooked perfectly as well as the eggs and bacon. Oh and the price is hard to beat. Would love to visit again if we visit White Sands again.Kid-friendliness: The teddy bear pancake for kids was so adorable!

We were happy to find this breakfast restaurant on our way through town. It was busy and yet we had very good service. The waffles and French toast were delicious. Everyone was happy with their breakfast and it came out hot. Lots of coffee refills. We will be stopping again when we're in Alamogordo! I wish I could remember our servers name. She was flirting around like a humming bird. Excellent waitress! The bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus!

This place was recommended by a local. The food was good. The service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. The prices were reasonable. I'm a coffee snob, so it wasn't what I like to drink, but it wasn't bitter or bad tasting either. It was busy the whole time we were there, and there were lot's of regulars. We'll be going there anytime we're in town.

Alamogordo is full of fast food locations - not my choice 90% of the time. But there is a hidden gem along the fast food strip. A real family run Waffle House with delicious breakfasts and great burgers. When I go to Alamo, this is one of my top three choices for a meal, and number one for breakfast. Good food, good coffee, fast and friendly waitresses, and very fair prices. Green Chili cheeseburger with onion rings is fab. Small place, but a fav with the locals. And me! I’m a happy boy after a stop at the Alamo Waffle House!

Great diner experience - they run a tight ship! Stopped in for breakfast while passing through Alamogordo and left happy. The cook was happy to add pecans to a teddy bear cake and our eggs were cooked exactly as requested. Hash browns were crispy on the outside, tender inside. Bacon and steak were cooked perfectly. Didn't have to wait very long to get our food even though they were packed full. Will definitely come back next time we're in town.
