Fantastic communication from the host while waiting to be sat. We waited almost an hour, but the host kept checking in with us and it was most appreciated. The server was pleasant, our drinks came out all at different times which was a bit odd. The same with our food. One person was half done eating before our other two entrees came out. I got the tortilla burger. My burger was completely over cooked and dry. The tortilla was stale and super hard to chew. The fries were good. I left most of my food on my plate. The two others didn’t care for their food either. Others around us were also complaining so I didn’t add to it. The covered patio and inside are nice. We might go back just for drinks, but the food is a hard pass.

I'd definitely come here again. The cheese steak and green chile fries were off tha hook! Service was really good and the food was out quick. I do recommend if you want comfort food with a southwest kick.

Would have been nice, if the server had written down, our order. A bit loud on the music.

While eating fish and chips, I almost consumed a long strand of human hair. Notified waitress of the finding. The waitress took the hair to the manager and return to inform me of a partial refund without discussing the issue with me. Also, the waitress was very slow.

Overall, a very mediocre experience. The food was just okay nothing memorable. While the manager was kind and helpful in fact, he ended up serving us more than our actual server, the service overall was disappointing.

What really rubbed us the wrong way was the automatic 20% gratuity added to our bill. The menu clearly states that gratuity is added for parties of 8 or more, but we had fewer than that which felt unfair and misleading.

Good management can’t make up for poor service and inconsistent policies. Not likely to return.

I don't usually write reviews but I felt the need to on this occasion. I had never been here before and decided to try it. The sliders and sweet potato fries were delicious and the beer nice and cold. The regulars and staff were super friendly and fun. The manager said he'd just started working here but was very professional and knew how to make a great drink. I could definitely make this my regular go to place, the only bad part is I wish I didnt live so far!

Been coming here for years, usually more during sport seasons, visited last night. There was a table that was beginning to get voluminous; management asked them to settle down after another table brought it up. The table complied, and after they noticed their own noise level was increasing they moved outside. The table that brought it to the attention of management seemed to not want to let the matter go, and essentially kept berating the manager and waitress even though they were apologizing. Being a restaurant worker myself, I don't like to see this sort of attitude being pressed on the staff, and usually try to give credit where credit is due. Will be coming back soon.

Don’t bother! Food is nothing special! Drinks are blah! Service is not existent. We just left and there was a party that was so loud that the kitchen staff was coming out so see why they were so loud! The manager asked them to quiet down after he dropped off their 5th round of drinks, yeah we were counting. I get it’s a tavern but you could tell from the entire place looking at them over and over they were a problem! Finally, the manager asked them to move outside as he took them the next round! Clearly over serving them! Needless to say we won’t be going back!

We came here after a long drive hoping to get a bite. We walked in around 9 and were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. No biggie, we were waiting for friends to arrive so we sat at the bar. The hostess recommended eating at the bar which we declined. About ten minutes later the hostess comes over and says that the wait is now “at least 20 minutes” and we should get our food at the bar - which we explained (again) that we did not want to eat at the bar we wanted to sit at a table. She said well we close promptly at ten and food needs to be in by 9:30. Our friends finally arrived just before 9:30 and in the half and hour we sat at the bar we heard NO LESS than five times how “were getting out of here by ten”. We paid for our beer and left to go find somewhere a little more hospitable.

I get it, you close at ten but to keep beating a dead horse and OBVIOUSLY saying it loud enough for us to hear over and over again was just lame. We come here (ABQ) often but we won’t be coming back to this place.

Never tried food, service was awful.
