Always have had the best experience with ABC Cake Shop. We ordered custom made cookies for a baby shower and they came out exactly how we expected and tasted amazing. Charlene was the one assisting me and was so great. Always highly recommend

I had a very disappointing experience with ABC Cakes regarding my wedding cake. Their level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Darrelene, in particular, made the entire process more complex and stressful than it needed to be. They claimed to have called me to remind me about my payment, but I never received any such call. If I had known I had a balance, I would have paid immediately and followed up myself.

Instead, I was met with threats of cancellation just days before my wedding. The only communication I received was when I called them to confirm the details only 10 days before the big day. It's frustrating to deal with a company that doesn’t take accountability for their mistakes and misleads their clients. I would not recommend ABC Cakes to anyone looking for a reliable vendor for their special day. Needless to say, I went with another baker (ABQ Sweet Spot), that has gotten many of ABC Cakes failed orders and they smoothed many things over. I didn't even care I lost my deposit; I did not want them to continue being a failure and show up with a bad attitude on our day!

This cake was amazing!!! I got what I expected and it tastes amazing. All of my guests enjoyed it. The staff were so nice and welcoming.

I absolutely loved the service as soon as we walked in. Monty was friendly and professional. He gave us detailed information on how custom cakes work, he even suggested things we didn’t know we could do with no pressure to buy.
The tres leches cake we ordered was delicious.
I have another cake coming this weekend. I’ll post photos soon.

Tried purchasing 4 dozen mixed variety holiday cookies, after picking out 2 dozen cookies I was abruptly told that I was at my limit and could not purchase any additional cookies except for the “pre made” esthetically unappealing trays of random cookies sitting out on a front table.
Needless to say they have lost a lifetime customer. I understand not wanting someone to buy out the bakery of all of the cookies but 4 dozen cookies is not an unreasonable request.
Thank you to Great Harvest for accommodating my needs and selling me 4 dozen cinnamon rolls. My neighbors were very pleased with their treats!

I walked into ABC cake to order a custom cake. The gentleman said I needed to wait until he finished checking out the people who came before me. So I waited at the counter and this man continued to check out people that had walked into the store after me. I was there waiting for 20 minutes watching him check out people that continued to walk in the store after me. I asked him if I could just order a cake and he said I would have to wait until he serviced everyone that walked into the store. I will not be going back there with such horrible service!

People have a right to know who they are buying from and working for that is what this system is designed for if I could give a negative star review I would!

I will always come here for my custom cakes! I was an apprehensive calling bakeries and every time I called ABC they were patient with me, explained what can be done, and what to expect. I came in finally to make the order for two birthday cakes and Monty was great! Prices are reasonable and the cakes were delicious! Thank you ABC!

The baked goods are good, and with so many places coming and going ABC is an ABQ constant. But, every time I've gone in to place a custom order or require a little customer assistance it is a grueling process, the staff just isn't friendly. It is a bit disappointing to approach a business for help with a special occasion and appear to be an inconvenience to them. With such a long history, and above average pricing, I would expect a bit better.

I'm disappointed about my son's wedding cake, seems like the frosting was a low and cheap quality because it started melting right away, $750 cake I was embarrasse. I don't recommend this place at all.
