I appreciate that they offer food that’s cooked from scratch - not fast food. If you’re impatient or want a quick meal this may not be the right place for you.

My family and I have enjoyed a hand full of vegetarian options and our favorite dish to share is Frijolada without meat. It’s a generous bowl of goodness that can easily be shared between two.

The food is made and served with care. It’s like eating at home.

Thank you 🙏

Great little restaurant. Highly recommend. Everything is prepared fresh, everything is great. My partner and I have largely been disappointed in the food scene in Albuquerque but this place is one of a few amazing experiences we’ve had.

I was so very excited to find a Colombian restaurant in ABQ after my visit to Colombia earlier this year. I really loved the yuca frita and my Patacon con ropa vieja. Unfortunately my partner’s steak (Carne con arepa) was overcooked. The service was very slow despite there only being a handful of customers when we were there.

The food was delicious, served by an attentive server, with wonderful Latin music in the background. Ajiao is a great find in Albuquerque.

Very clean, owners are kind; and food is cooked from scratch. It has the authentic taste. Must try!

Food was okay. Price was fair. Nothing spectacular.

The service too a very long time to bring water and ask my order.
The empanada was fresh and delicious.
The steak was flavorless and so tough I couldn't chew it I had to spit it into a napkin.
The beans needed salt
The plantains were soft and sweet and the best thing served.
The egg was over cooked and flavorless.
The rice was overcooked and flavorless.
The table was uneven and rocked when trying to saw through my gristle.
For a dissatisfying meal my total was $37.
The most refreshing thing served was the glass of water.

Edit: Originally 1 star because of the frustrating wait. Moved to 3 because the food is really, really good.

Ordered out. Said 20 mins. Was 50 min wait and it wasn’t at capacity. 25% of the tables are still open on a Friday. Just tell me it’s gonna be 50 mins…

First time eating here after wanting to try it forever. The arepa sandwich was insanely delicious, aji was once of the best salsas I've had. The soup is very good as well. Basically everything we ate was so good. Also tried a beef and chicken empanada which are amazing.
