Just a few observations upon stopping here among the hundreds I’ve stopped at across the country:
1. Watched woman with just dirty socks on her feet be told to grab another pack of whatever food item she bought because the one she had was MOLDY.
2. Last night, woman working register answered my question about showers with a look as though she personally knew me and that I personally wronged her; made me feel like the trash I already know I am—rude.
3. Sign in bathroom requesting people NOT bathe or wash feet in the toilets and sinks. Maybe if showers weren’t $17?
4. Armed security guard 24/7.
5. You have to pay to park overnight.

It’s just not a very hospitable place…

I’m giving it 5 stars because reading the reviews I see the owner actually cares takes time to respond and that’s a rare thing these days. If more owners did this it would be a better world. The bathroom was very clean. I was there 7pm on Sunday 1/5/25 the lady running the register seemed unenthusiastic about anything. But the one thing that was off the lady cleaning the showers seem scared to death she was almost hiding in one and I went to ask her how I can tell what shower I am she looked straight at the ground and whispered about the screen Out front. Than I came down stairs there was security with vests and guns on like it’s a night club. Idk just gave me a eerie feeling I put the log book on PC and got out of there

I come to this location very often. Ruben is definitely the best staff member, and I'm so grateful for him. I also appreciate Mike. He was the maintenance man, and he was always so friendly and courteous. These are probably the two most memorable staff members of this location, and I will forever cherish their courtesy and kindness.

It's hard to believe I'm even in the same TA that I was in two years ago! Two years ago I slept with one eye opened and listened to yelling, screaming, sirens, and various other loud noises. It's a completely different place now. Not sure what security is costing TA, but it's worth every penny! Major improvement! No tweekers stealing chrome, or popping locks on trailers. Only thing missing is a improved dog park. I seen at least 15 dogs use this area in the southwest corner in the 20 hours I've been here. The sand burs/thorns are terrible! Ouch! If it was fenced and had some bags, people might clean up their poo.

I went retake the DOT inspection because it failed in Phoenix AZ and I had right to get it done in 48 hours for free in any other TA or petro, they said no you have to pay again, Idk 🤷 I show them the TA documents showing the cause of not passing the DOT inspection to get it fixed ! It’s an official document from TA to say here is the problem.
They are stupid

I wanted to change the oil, they said you'll have to wait 3-4 hours, I waited 4 hours, I come back, they say wait another 2 hours, so I don't recommend their service

there are no questions for the mechanics. but 15-20 minutes to write out an invoice for payment after replacing two spare tires... I think that's very long...

It's sad that driver's continue to pay these extremely high prices at truck stops.. especially reserve parking. $22.00 to park for 1 night is a absolute joke. It's funny how this reserve parking started as soon as elogs was mandated in 2018 and places like T/A and Pilot took advantage of it by getting extra money out of driver's. It doesn't provide any beneficial purpose buy charging to park.. loves travel centers will always be the go to

Got my truck serviced for an oil change they didn’t put my axle plug back in or didn’t tighten it and I lost all my fluid, they charged $300 for fluid they didn’t charge me for the plug because I complained but that should’ve been on them

I stayed here from Night-Time to Day-time. I enter the center couple of times to buy random items or showers . I do have to say I didn’t like Night-shift workers they were rude upon asked questions & I was looked upon . On the other side of the coin Day-shift where polite asked me if I needed help felt more welcoming. & The issue with Homeless & stuff like that no problem wasn’t bother by none.

Roadside Technician Christopher needs a raise. That young man is very professional and smart when it comes to taking care of business. He made sure the job was done to my satisfaction. Went above and beyond in fixing my wheel seal and exhaust stack problem. Wasn't in no hurry, and did the jobs absolutely perfectly. Wish I could give 20⭐
