I have been a customer at the Applebees on Coors & I-40 for many years. I guess I could be considered a Regular. I have always received Great service and the Atmosphere was always so welcoming and friendly. This was especially important to me as a Single Woman looking for a safe place near home to have a good meal and a drink.Unfortunately, this is not the case any longer. I have gotten to know the Bar Employees very well and they go above and beyond to make sure I’m well taken care of, safe and have a great Experience.Unfortunately, since new Management took over, it feels like they go above and beyond to make Customers feel unwelcome, unimportant and uncomfortable.Rachel is One manager in particular who I have personally seen be very Unprofessional, Rude, Unfriendly and disrespectful to Customers and Employees. I believe she rarely talks to customers, I know she has never said a word to me. She does however, make lots of inappropriate gestures and facial expressions, ie. rolling eyes, mumbling under her breath and walking away in the middle of conversations, etc. She is very condescending and disrespectful to everyone. On one occasion she stated “I hate Regulars, they act so Entitled” loud enough for Bar Patrons to hear. When patrons attempt to talk to her about an issue, she is very dismissive. I witnessed an incident where a Bartender was busy and asked Rachel for silverware for bar Patrons, Rachel’s response was “Do you need them right now?” Bartender said “Yes”. Rachel didn’t respond, rolled her eyes and walked to kitchen. She then walked into Bar area with an armful of wrapped silverware where Bartender was washing glassware. Instead of walking an extra foot and a half to put silverware in the bin herself, she stood next to the Bartender and stood there until Bartender stopped washing glassware to get silverware from her. The only reason I have continued to return to this Applebees is the Bartenders. They have not only worked at this location for many years and many managers but they now work twice as hard to continue to provide Amazing service to ensure their Patrons return, despite negative experiences. I believe this store, Employees and Patrons deserves Managers who are Exceptional in all areas and able to lead the Employees who have kept this store afloat for many years.

We have been coming into Applebees for a longtime usually once a week . Lately the atmosphere has changed when you walk into a place you can tell if it’s a good vibe or not. The restaurant looks very nice well needed for sure but atmosphere not so much employees look miserable walking on eggshells. I recently had the not so nice manager Rachel very unprofessional young lady encounter with . That explained it all she is a very unpleasant lady I’m really surprised she is a manager the way she talks to the bartenders is so unprofessional she needs to realize they are waiting on people at the bar and helping the restaurant also. Also I do not understand why they can’t turn on sound on Tv when a local team like the lobos are playing?? I’ve never been somewhere where they don’t do that but warning for other patrons if you want to hear a game this is not the place to go. Unfortunately for the employees I’m sure this hurts there pockets. .

They remodel the place, the wait staff was wonderful, food was good.
I'm giving a 2 star because they got rid of Dr pepper. My family and I love Dr pepper and mainly what we drink. Unfortunately we will go somewhere else we can enjoy a Dr pepper with our meal

Love this place! I come here for dinner often. My food had come cold last night and the manager (Rachel) was not very helpful about fixing the problem. Not coming back anytime soon.

Rachel the manager was so RUDE! She told us to be quiet when we were cheering at the bar! We asked her if she had any complaints about us being loud and she said no. We are regulars and Love this

I dont know what it is, but the Late noon staff need retraining due to the fact that for1) immediately after getting my table me and my family of [5] were giving no silverware.?2) ordered 2 alcohol drinks and waited 30 min to have finally arrive to only have them water slush and tasted like flavored water with a hint of alcohol ??? which we didn't drink and returned !!!!3) had ordered food and instructed my server Kim b. That my daughter of 4 yr old is highly allergic to raw tomatoes and told Kim to have no tomato on her burger. 3 burgers and a oriental chicken salad was our order and when our food had arrived we had a total of 2 waitresses trying to figure out which one had no tomatoe and had to call for the manager to give a verbal complaint of what had just happen.Once we had our food we didn't receive any silverware until I had to voice it to kim.b and we'll after that my family had no appetite so we had ask for to go boxes which were 3 tables down and had requested them from Kim b. And not only did she agree to bring us the to go boxes but then left and had us waiting 15 min after that until I had to personally get up and retrieve them from the table they had them in. I live down the ramp its next to. Me and my family love going there but that day was really disgusting and disturbing ? It literally killed my mood to drink and eat !!?!?! Do better....
What can I say... I stepped out of my comfort zone and I ordered a salad. It was delicious! It had strawberries in it! For me I ate those last! Try it, you'll like it!

Had a great dinner ? service was super fast we had much room with my 4 kids my wife and i .even there was a fight who was first when me and my wif got caught in the cross fire we loved the service thank you to the manager and are server i recommend this place to any one who love great food from local great workers .Parking: AlwaysKid-friendliness: Yes i had my crying 1 year old in there and we still had great service i love this place.
