Applebee's Grill + Bar

Had a beverage and waited for my food to be ready. Bartender was very friendly and personable, food came out quick, and I was on my way home. After that I got home gave it a quick buzz in the microwave just to make sure that it was hot and the food was delicious
I would highly recommend this Applebee's location to try . And try the new Cajun menu because they are doing a great job with it

Thank you James for serving Mommy and I after her appointment. Fish and chips were terrific Mommy had leftovers. My chicken tenders were great and I had leftovers for Hubby. Thank you to Manny for checking on us and asking if we needed any additional things to complete our meal.

Wanted to try out the Bacon Cheeseburger deal for $9.95.

The hostess seated us promptly. 15 minutes later a server finally showed up. I asked to delete the cheese because they don't offer any good alternatives and to add green chili. "We don't have green chili" she replied. So we declined the fake cheese and ordered.

If Applebee's is "eatin' good in the neighborhood" they should be aware of the culinary norms of the neighborhood! In New Mexico that means GREEN CHILI on burgers.

Took a while to get out drinks and then even longer to get our food. There was ketchup on the table but no mustard. We asked the person who brought our food, who was dressed like a manager, for mustard and he said "I'll be right back". Never came back so I asked our server who finally rushed by for mustard and another 15 minutes went by before she returned and by then our burgers were cold and the burgers were NOT cooked medium well but were pink inside.

Our server never returned after delivering the mustard to ask if everything was OK.

During the meal we drank our drinks and I caught our server as she rushed by asking for refills and that took another 10 minutes.

We finished our meal and the server was at the next table so I asked for the check. She asked if we wanted more fries and I thought we don't have the time to wait for more fries so I said "just the check".

All the servers seem disorganized, overloaded, and they don't seem to have tables in the same area so they bounce all around the restaurant. Our server was dealing with tables all over the restaurant and at the bar and spent more time on the computer than actually serving her tables.

This Applebee's was only half full so I wonder how bad the experience would be during happy hour or dinner time. I'll never find out because we will never set foot in a n Applebee's again.

While the Bacon Cheeseburger deal for $9.95 looks really appealing on TV the reality is that going next door to the Burger King will get you hot food, as you like it, and with green chili a lot faster with better service for half the price that Applebee's charges even during their burger deal promotion

Hey Applebee's... stop the commercials and put that money into adequately staffing your restaurants, training your management, and organizing your serving procedures and kitchen processes!

Some businesses make money despite their best efforts not to.

EDIT 1/22/24 to the owner... was contacted by the general manager Hernan Reyes who asked me to call him. I did, then sat on hold for 9 minutes, then the call was disconnected. THIS Applebee's that is a clown show.

James was such a great server! He was the only one on the floor when we got there, and we was still kind, brisk, and helpful. He was even the one to make drinks, seat new customers, and run food out. Great service and the food was awesome :)

Sara was jus so uplifting, full of life and had a awesome excitement about welcoming customers to serve them. Had a great sense of humor.

This place was horrible..was in the middle of a 2300 mile trip wanted a great meal for my birthday and got raw steak.. bad wait staff and horrible manager.. who refired the steak and did not offer anything off.. was horrible we left without eating.. just horrible

I worked almost 10 hours today . Every Friday, I treat myself totakeout. Today I chose Applebee’s. I did an online order. I am starving. I get home. Some of my items are missing. My hard earned money was given to your restaurant and whoever does the online orders to not follow through. Before you distribute a to go order Please double check that everything is in the bag ready to go. So you do not disappoint your patrons.

My friend and I came down here to have dinner. The appetizer we had was the one with the multple things (quesadilla, wings, mozzarella sticks, and spinach artichoke dip) it tasted bad. The dip was kinda cold and had a weird sour taste? The mozzarella sticks tasted like they were made in old oil and the quesadilla was the worst thing on there. We ordered our entrees finally and I got the bourbon street chicken. My entrees was super good but my friend got the ribs and they were very dry so we switched it out for a burger. At that point my friend started feeling nauseous and we decided to pay and go. Today we both feel like we have food poisoning. My roommate has also gotten severely sick at this location so we won't be back. Hopefully things change and no one else gets sick. Our waitress was super sweet though and she did an amazing job. The alcohol drinks I got were made perfectly fine as well.
