Best Asian food in town hands down! I enjoy exploring new Thai restaurants across town, always looking for a hidden gem. I found it with this place. Their noodle dishes are so good. My absolute favorite is the Spicy Sesame. AMAZING. And the service is always really good. If you’re downtown, check them out. You won’t regret it.

Over $18 for one small vermicelli noodle bowl! It wasn't worth it and they don't serve the fish sauce with it, that or they forgot mine.

The operating hours for this spot are all over the place. But can confirm dining room closes at 6, but you can still do take out till 8. The beef pho take out was a little heavier on taste/salt than the pho my mother in law makes, but it was still delicious. May just have been I got the concentrated at bottom of the pot given how close it was to closing time. They do give a good helping of protein providing both flank steak slices and cut up meatballs. So that's always great. Chicken yakatori was done well. Chunks were big though and it could be a bit more charred, but still delicious none the less. All in all, not entirely traditional not amazing, but still a solid take out spot in the downtown area.

Tonight was our first and last time visiting Asian Noodle Bar.I ordered a miso soup and the Tom Ka Noodle. The entree was under the specials list instead of the soup section. I’m very familiar with tom ka (sometimes spelled tom kha gai), and it’s a standard at all Thai restaurants and listed under their soup sections on the menu. The description of the dish read “Vermicelli noodle, sliced mushrooms and onions in coconut broth, flavored with chili lemongrass, lime juice and cilantro.” I figured this was an interesting fusion dish using the flavors of tom kha gai (soup) in a noodle dish (like pad Thai). Instead the entree was simply the soup, which I didn’t understand because it wasn’t listed under the soup section and didn’t have soup in the description. The name, in my mind, made me think it was a noodle dish. When I pointed out my confusion, the server was brusque and chastised me for ostensibly not knowing what tom kha is, even though I do. The entree itself was lackluster and unimaginative; it was definitely not “special”. If there was fast food version of tom kha gai, this dish is what I imagine it would taste like. The miso came out at the same time as the entrees; I think the server forgot we had ordered it. It was very watery and had a cilantro taste; it was unlike any miso I’ve had before, and not in a good way. The service overall was very slow, which was odd since there was only one other patron dining there that wasn’t a family member who had camped out. The server clearly didn’t want to be there and never once cracked a smile or tried to be polite.Skip Asian Noodle Bar if you have other options. It’s not worth the time, money, or calories. We won’t go back.

When asked to be seated on an empty table, the server stated "I don't want to move the items". Would not provide us a wait time either.

I ordered the Udon noodles with regular chicken to go. When I started eating it, there was no taste at all! The chicken had absolutely no seasoning what so ever. It was very bland and just tasted like it was boiled chicken, The noodles had little to no flavor either! I had to add the Sriracha and the soy sauce to get at least some flavoring. And for the price, I was expecting a bit more food. Maybe the other dishes are better, I guess I'll have to try them. This was my first time trying their food and I wasn't very impressed.

I had takeout, but the atmosphere seemed nice when I picked up the food. I ordered the Udon noodles and there were very few noodles. I also ordered the Pad See Ew. It had plenty of noodles, but was bland.

Good food. Fresh ingredients. I ordered some sushi. I wished they had Chirashi, but this isn't a Japanese restaurant. The server had no idea what Chirashi was. The menu prices did not reflect the bill so they are going through some changes. Cute atmosphere right on central.

Asian Noodle Bar is soooo good? They have the best fried rice that I've had and I highly recommend it and their egg rolls are to die for as well. Place is conveniently located on central in downtown ABQ, so perfect to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the vibes of central. They service is absolutely great and cleanliness is on point too. Also the owner Mimy is absolutely amazing, you won't be disappointed here at all. So if you haven't been here I suggest you change that soon?

If you prefer your food to taste like fruity pebbles, then eat here. Otherwise, void. We ordered chicken teriyaki, Tom yum noodle soup, and pad Thai. Pad Thai was the sweetest and couldn't eat it all. So we switched it out for fried rice. It was also sweet. Worst Asian food I ve ever eaten in my life. I'm Asian American.
