I can't speak to the quality of their food, as I didn't even get that far. This was easily the worst customer service experience I have had lately. There were multiple employees just standing around doing nothing, while the person taking orders was clearly not trained. She was slow, couldn't seem to explain things, and was constantly going off the register to ask others for assistance. I waited for over six minutes and the line had moved forward exactly one person. I gave up and left and will not be returning. I recommend you avoid this location.

We are regular customers and love Bahama Bucks. The atmosphere and staff are great our only complaint is that the quality of the sno cones has greatly decreased. Both visits have been in the last month and both times we asked for extra juice , even if it cost extra and both times we have gotten cones that are very dry with white in the middle and the bottom. It used to be when we asked for extra juice we would get very juicy sno cones. We hope this helps the staff to improve before the busy summer months at your San Mateo location.

I come here a lot for years. They were perfect. Now they don't put enough chile on their mangoniadas and when I asked for extra chile they put it in there to the point all you taste is salty ice and no magi whatsoever. The lady that took my order was super friendly and did her best to take my order she was not an issue. The issue is the staff in the back who clearly do not know how to make the items on the menu.Look at my 99% chile mangoniada image for reference.

Cute little place, super friendly staff. The snowcones were bright and vibrant in flavor, no freezer burn yuckiness. The small size really goes a long way. First time visiting, but it's certainly not the last. I highly recommend grabbing a cool snack on a hot day!
Bahama bucks is always delicious but their candy corn sno for fall is the best! This location gets pretty busy but it's got seating outside as well so it's not usually too packed

Was told I can't get a small size without the dome, if I wanted a flat top then I'd have to upsize. Made no sense, felt like extortion.I was already willing to pay the full price of a dome'd small for a flat top small.....You guys were already making more money on that drink than usual because of that.Guess that wasn't enough to satisfy their greed. I would've just bought a small and scraped the dome off myself but my kids would have devastated if I did that in front of them.BAHAMA BUCKS, PLEASE ADD MORE OPTIONS FOR PEOPLE IN A RUSH. I don't plan on coming back over this inconsiderate experience. Down 13 dollars for 2 drinks but hey, at least the lady smiled while she asked for more $
