My grandfather and his friend came here a few weeks ago. My grandfather had very low blood sugar and almost fainted in their parking lot. The staff here was quick to react. They helped get him inside, got him soda and food, and one of the regulars was even so generous as to comp the ticket. They took such great care of him until my sister and I were able to get to the restaurant. Lupe was the main server who helped us and she was so sweet. She told me about how she took care of...
The carne adovada, alone, is worth the trip to this restaurant. The flavorful chili used in its preparation is delightful. My companion raved about the chili relleno and shared a bite with me...I will get that on my next visit. The red & green have good flavor with a noticeable kick, but nothing this gringo couldn't handle. I think we found our new favorite New Mexican restaurante! Neighborhood needs some attention from the city leaders, though.
Good food, great restaurant, not busy at all, cute waitress, how cute? Biscuits were solid as a rock(ordered biscuts and gravy), still ate them, that cute. Go there. Bring your own biscuits.
