The food was not hot, though the plate was. The music was terrible and too loud to enjoy a conversation with others at the table and far too loud to enjoy dinner.

My experience at Black Angus was a bit of a mixed bag.
The food was decent—nothing extraordinary but not bad either. However, my waitress was quite pushy and seemed more interested in turning tables quickly than making sure we had a good experience(the restaurant was not busy at all). She came off as a bit rude and rushed us through the meal, which took away from the overall enjoyment. Other than that, the atmosphere was nice, and the rest of the staff seemed friendly. It could be a good place for a casual meal if you’re lucky with the service.

We've been coming to this location for 20 years. We had a horrible experience last February. Two weeks later we decided to give it another chance. Our experience was even worse. We haven't been to Black Angus since then. Tonight, we decided to give them one more chance. Eight months later, we went in with high hopes. After being customers for so many years, it felt good to be back. It felt like we were "home". Little by little, those feelings slipped away. Our table was dirty. The booth seat was dirty. The salads were very skimpy. Part of our appetizer was undercooked. Regarding my entree, the potato was very hard and dry. It was burned on the bottom. I was excited about the chocolate cake. Of course, they were out. They were also out of mud pie. We picked the carrot cake. It sucked. The icing was slimy. The cake was dry. It had a weird taste. I doubt we go back. I'm so disappointed.

Went in on a Sunday around 4pm. It was deserted. Me and partner believed there would be a long wait but there wasn't. It was just empty and quiet. Only busy place we saw was the bar. We got sat right away by the hostess into a nice spacious booth. Service was really great. The server was sooo nice and really helpful when recommending items on the menu. The server and her service were the only thing that we left satisfied about, the only problem we really had was with the food. We chose the dinner for 2 and me and my husband got a ribeye each. We got the loaded skins as an appetizer and they tasted bland. There was a visible oil drip when you handled the skins and made it not so appealing. The ribeyes came out fairly fast which we expected considering the place was empty. Unfortunately the steaks looked unappetizing. They were cooked to our preferred temps but the steaks came out looking very pale. No char or blackening seasoning was used to grill these steaks. They had no real flavor and were chewy and although my husband kinda finished his I was left really disappointed and only had a bite or two. The quality of the meat looked fine just needed a hotter grill and better technique when cooking them. The sides where the one things we did finish. Me and my husband loved the au grats and mashed potatoes they tasted delicious. The green beans were a little raw and undercooked so we didn't finish them. But the best part was the mud pie with the vanilla ice cream. We left hungry and for the price we paid wish we had gone to Texas Roadhouse instead. We know we could have brought this up to someone's attention but we weren't looking for problems or a comped meal. We just wanted to try someplace new from our usual steakhouse.

Black Angus is one of my favorite places. They're Campfire Meals are our favorite thing to order. Our food was excellent and well timed. The bar makes great cocktails however, they did have some issues with getting a margarita correct which was weird. It looked like the restaurant was short handed that evening so we'll give them a pass on that one. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and we even got a birthday cookie! It was a great night and we'll be back again and again.

The service was horrible. Waited forever for food, and when it came, it was cold.

Honestly, I thought these restaurants were all closed.

Dale was our server and he was absolutely amazing. I drink lots of water and he picked up on it instantly and brought another glass. Always had a smile on his face and definitely one of my favorite servers recently. I will definitely be coming back just to see him.

You better hope your stomach is bigger than your eyes. They cook your meal the way you wanted. I go there after church.

Vegetarian options: I also had beef vegetable soup.

First time guests in addition to celebrating our 11 year wedding anniversary. The entire experience was great! Lora was so accommodating when we needed to adjust our reservations last minute. She was warm, inviting, and great at her job. We were greeted with balloons/card for our anniversary which was such a nice touch. Shannon our server was also fantastic! The food and drinks were delicious and executed well. The service, atmosphere, and over all attention to detail reminded us of a “better time” when restaurants had service standards, and didn’t cut costs for labor. Very well done. We will absolutely be back!
