I am in love with this brewery!!! I had a flight with the Predator, Kessler Krave, Stout Walker, and Coconut Porter. The Coco Porter is my favorite! The owners are amazing and very knowledgeable. I will return! I recommend this place for the cool atmosphere and great beer.

This brewery is located in the heights of Albuquerque. There's not much to choose from on this side of town. You have the canteen taproom, and marble East side that's about it. So this spot is located right smack in the middle of the other guys. When you walk in to this open space, you immediately notice 5 flat screens playing sports! . That is always a plus in my book! I sat at the bar and noticed a pretty good selection of beers and guest beers. Since I'm such a beer snob I stuck with the guest beer - La Cumbre IPA. Wasn't really a fan of their beers. They attempted a gummy bear IPA?!!! . Weird. Great spot to watch football and have a cold one. They also serve small snacks (pub mix, pretzels). It isn't quite at the par of marble, la Cumbre etc... but it's not a bad spot to check out if you're in the area either.

I really enjoyed this small brewery. They focus more on IPA's but not to fret if you aren't a hoppy kind of beer drinker. They also have guest taps from local breweries. I did enjoy the coconut porter which had a very smooth finish. We received great service & it was nice meeting one of owners which was also our bartender.

Green Goblin IPA is just outstanding, and not what you think it would be. Great local place and the owner is easy to talk to!

Great spot. Just moved to town, and this place is just down the street. Stopped by after the gym to check it out. Creative beers, nice space, and the bar tender made an effort to tell me about their beers and make friendly conversation.

First time going to Black Snout Brewhouse. Awesome experience! One of the best I've had in a while. The place its self was super clean and welcoming. Right when we walked in we were greeted like regular's. Chose to sit at the bar which was very comfortable! The service was wonderful we talk about TV shows and Comic-Con. We learned a lot about the brewhouse, how they support the community. Events they have had and plan to have like yoga and brews. Which I'm extremely excited for! They also have different types of sports play including ESports which my boyfriend and I were very excited about. There isn't any other place in town where you can watch a tournament and have a tasty beer. The beer was phenomenal and the fact it's up to the road from our home is such a plus. The whole experience made us want to make this our go-to place. We will be telling our family and friends about Black Snout Brewhouse. This was our first review on Google the first time we visited. We have become somewhat regulars. They now have UFC showing, Dj, Open mic night and yoga classes!

Bottom Line: Friendly folks vendoring decent brews at reasonable prices in typical brewpub surroundings. Worth visiting, give 'em a shot. Top Line: As a new spot for me, I stopped in one afternoon to wet my whistle with one of their house brews. They do have guest taps with other local craft brewers' offerings. I found it nice that they offer several sizes of drink, including the diminutive 5 oz sample size I chose. That sample size came in well under $3, so I found the value to be pretty dang good. I opted for their Red Zone Red (the darkest of their own beers on tap) as the brew du jour. It's an Irish red style and had a nice bit of roastiness in the flavor & ran light in the body. That light body would make this particular red an easy all afternoon sipper. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Quite conscientious about checking back to see if I wanted for anything. Interior space was pretty industrial. The chair seating didn't look all that comfortable for long term sitting. But I did fine at the bar for the 20 or so minutes I was there watching sports on the tv's. Next time I intend to check out the table comfort level. Overall, in my experience Black Snout is in line with the plethora of other brewpubs in terms of quality of brew, value, and ambiance. I hope to be back to try some of their other brews one day soon.

Discovered this place just this weekend. the Octoberfest was insanely good. Greeted by some of the coolest people! Josh - you have a great place here bud! (your and the Mrs) we will return. I'm putting you guys on blast, this was such a cool atmosphere, close to my place and anxious to return. OH, love that you guys are connected closely with Mario's Pizza.

Thanks to Josh and Natasha for opening for the yoga class, and the delicious hefeweizen beer afterward!

I was excited when this place opened up because the heights definitely needs a little more variety going on. I love me some Marble and Boese but everywhere else in town there's a dozen options, not so much on the farther NE side. The space is actually quite a bit larger than you would expect and has a good vibe. They're definitely going for "sports bar" but I don't know if I'd push it that far- to be a sports bar I think you at least need to have food if you want people to hang a bit or make some friends with food trucks, etc. Mario's is good but the pizza/brewery combo is just down the street at Marble if that's your jam. This would be the type of place I would go if I were an out-of-towner or needing to catch up on emails, reading, or some other thing that you'd normally do at Starbucks (except it's 2019 and that's so 2015 so you do that at a brewery). Anywho, the beer selection is fairly limited compared to a lot of the others but this is a much smaller operation. The ones that they do brew are solid and a good representation of what they're aiming for. No complaints there and the owner hosts different types of events like yoga and homebrewer meetings which is pretty cool. My main criticisms of the place are that I wish there was more selection, even if they're guest taps, the horrendous chairs that every brewery in town seems to have that are the most uncomfortable on the planet, and the prices for extra stuff (glasses, stickers, mug club, etc.) are higher than anyone in town. No one's joining a $60 mug club if you have 4 beers on tap. In the grand scheme of things, these are pretty minor. And they allow dogs inside which is pretty cool. Mine think they're human so they would dig this. It's definitely worth checking out if you haven't, I'm eager to see what improvements they make as they grow.

This brewery advertises as a sports themed brewery. I came in for Monday Night Football. There were not many patrons in the brewery. The bartender was not very friendly to me at all but was very chatty with patrons at the other end of the bar. I asked about ordering a flight and the bartender was not very interested in telling me about the beers, he just pointed to the beer menu board. Once I finished my flight it took him 10 minutes to acknowledge me and ask if I needed anything else (I was one of 3 patrons in the brewery!). Unfortunately this is the 3rd time the staff has not been friendly. 3 strikes and you are out. There are plenty of local breweries in Albuquerque with very friendly staff and great beer!

First time here: The service here was horrible right from the get-go, so we only had one beer and left to Canteen. It wasn't busy, probably about 6 of us. I was interested in ordering a snack so when the guy was approaching I signaled him with a smile and received a cold stare. He stopped right in front of me but never said a word to me or look my way for the remainder of the time. We were the only ones at the bar besides another guy, so I don't understand why he was rude and acting too busy by chatting with him the whole time ( not even a "How is everything?" Or "You guys doing ok?" We had to ask for our check and Still received a cold response! They need proper customer service training! The drink board was also missing the IBU but did have the ABV. The place was also so dark that we thought it was closed . I would never come here alone(kinda creepy), and a $60 membership?! That's ridiculously expensive!
