We walked to Blake's Lotaburger from the family camp on base. The interior was pretty empty at 5:30 in the evening. We ordered a Lotaburger meal with cheese and a Lotaburger New Mexico style. We thought the burgers were good, with the Lotaburger similar in style to a Whatabuger. Being from out of state, I thought the New Mexico style had just the right amount of heat from the hatch green chilis. The fries were fine, but had cooled down by the time they were served.
We ordered a Pina Colada shake after our meal. The shake was very good, and even had bits of real fruit in it. Unfortunately, it took about 7-10 minutes to get our shake, even though there was only one car in the drive through and no new customers at the counter.
Overall, we thought this a good, solid meal and would eat here again.

Had the LOTA burger New Mexico style with fries for the first time. Burger was unique with the New Mexican “green chile” flavor added to basically a double cheeseburger.
Skip the fries if you like them salted or seasoned. Eat the fries if you’re watching your sodium intake, since they were pretty plain.
Overall, it’s fast food. So do not expect steakhouse or gastropub burger level.

Husband showed up at the drive thru tonight (August 25th) at around 8:15pm and two male workers were seemingly hiding from him and came out as they saw him starting to drive off

The burgers were good, the service was good and they were friendly. As we ordered they suggested different things to try. We liked it because it was our first time at the restauran. We had a coconut pineapple milk shake what a treat!!

awful. everytime we go there they ALWAYS forget my fries that i PAYED for. if you can’t read and prepare the order correctly you shouldn’t work there.

Clean, prices are ok for what you get, onion rings are very good for fast food. I cannot recommend the Buffalo chicken sandwich - my was very sad the last time I was here (two chicken tenders that were more like crispy nuggets) - stick to their burritos and burgers.

Today 6-24-25 At around 12:30pm I went in for lunch. I ordered a double meat, double cheese lotaburger cobo. Both patty were barley even warm! The cheese didn't even melt! I would have adressed it but a line of customers appeared right after me. I was kinda in a rush to get back to work soo I did not want to wait in line for another burger. I feel that is very unacceptable And i am highly disappointed. Especially being on kafb!!

The burgers were outstanding. (Plain, Itsa, Green Chile Cheese)
The fries were perfection.
Milkshake was very good.
The service was very professional.
The atmosphere was good, but the franchise owners need to renovate the Bathrooms 🚻 because they look very outdated.

Update: I went through the drive through this week and ordered #3 breakfast burrito with beans. The outdoor menu showed it was $5.99. When I went to pay, it was slightly over $7. When I asked why the price did not match the menu price I was told it was because of the $1 egg surcharge. When I questioned the surcharge (since the price of eggs has dropped significantly) I was told that they were looking at removing the surcharge in a week. Other than this, the burrito was very good but slightly dry. I suggest adding more green or red sauce or provide the customer with small cups of the sauce for them to add to the burrito to their liking.
I decided to give Lotaburger another try today. Today was a 100% change from my last experience. The burger was perfectly made, the fries were excellent and the vanilla shake was just right! They definitely are on the right track! Kudos to their management!
Friendly staff, however, the food was so-so. Onions rings tasted like they were fried in old oil and the NM style burger was not spicy and had a “smashed” appearance to it. The only part of the meal I enjoyed was the small strawberry shake. This meal was not worth over $17. I will not be back.
