We walked to Blake's Lotaburger from the family camp on base. The interior was pretty empty at 5:30 in the evening. We ordered a Lotaburger meal with cheese and a Lotaburger New Mexico style. We thought the burgers were good, with the Lotaburger similar in style to a Whatabuger. Being from out of state, I thought the New Mexico style had just the right amount of heat from the hatch green chilis. The fries were fine, but had cooled down by the time they were served.

Had the LOTA burger New Mexico style with fries for the first time. Burger was unique with the New Mexican “green chile” flavor added to basically a double cheeseburger.

Skip the fries if you like them salted or seasoned. Eat the fries if you’re watching your sodium intake, since they were pretty plain.

Overall, it’s fast food. So do not expect steakhouse or gastropub burger level.

The burgers were good, the service was good and they were friendly. As we ordered they suggested different things to try. We liked it because it was our first time at the restauran. We had a coconut pineapple milk shake what a treat!!
