The tart berry brew that they have is super flavorful and the Sombearo is also good, especially ice cold.

We visited Boxing Bear our first night in town and we loved the location. VERY dog friendly, great beer and several restaurants in the same strip center so lots of food variety. I could see this as a very regular hangout for locations with all those positives. We will visit again when we are back in town.

I love this place. Everyone who works here is so friendly, they have a new list of offerings every few weeks and even have a few gluten free offerings. The patio area is great for sunny afternoon and they have patio heaters for winter month. Many different seating areas inside and multiple TVs playing movies, sports and special events.Great spot to hang out with friends, quiet enough for couples and safe for nights you fly solo.Stand back, Cheers; there's a new place in town!

The crew at Boxing bear are the best in the city! Angie has built a great crew! Dan, Aaron & Drew are always friendly and great to talk to about the beers on tap. And the beer is always changing with the different seasonally available beers!!!Its not wonder I'm there 3 or 4 times a week!! Thank you Boxing Bear!

Visited here this evening and Angie and Dan helped with beer selections. Wonderful atmosphere and great music overhead. What’s great view of the Sandia’s. I will be back for more! Thank you!

Boxing bear tramway has been my go to spot for beer for the last 2+ years. All my friends know if I ask want to get a beer that this is where I’m gonna be. Laid back environment and great staff

I dubbed the place "The Boxing Tako" ever since we started going during the pandemic... Tailgate hangout, get some beer and order the best tacos.Now... I still like it, BUT the inside lights say "F&%@ you, go away. This will not end well." The patio is nice in nice weather though.?‍♂️

Awesome taproom indoor and outdoor, great beers!

This brewery has a big choice of beer, including non-alcoholic, but the atmosphere is pretty boring. Everything looks very simple. No decor, no vibe, just a few TVs...

You can't go wrong with Boxing Bear Brewing. The drinks are always consistent between locations, ambiance is wonderful with a large patio and indoor seating area, and the service is great. What I like about this area is how close it is to other places, want to get paletas, tacos, etc? All right around the corner. I also appreciate how dog friendly they are with the water bowls around all over.

We reserved the patio for a birthday celebration and it was great! Astrid was awesome at communicating and Josh was awesome at the party. Very attentive to our guests needs. The atmosphere and servers were great! Good drinks and great time! Thank you BB!

I selected 1 star because the yelp app forced me to, should be 0 stars. Our party size was 6 adults (ages 30-82), including my recently widowed grandmother, and two children (ages 5-7). Boxing Bear has indoor tables up to 6 seats. On a hot 100 degree summer day, the indoor seating was largely taken. Because BB ownership decided to have numerous 4 top tables, for our party of 8, we moved two tables together so we could enjoy the company of family after my grandmother just lost her husband of 62 years. We spent over 2.5 hrs there, purchasing beer, soda, and food from the near-by small businesses (BB doesn't have there own food, which is an issue in itself) to support our local economy. Unfortunately, we were told we had to leave due to the 'new rule' of now allowing the smaller tables in the back room to be moved. Won't be going there ever again due to the insensitive and ridiculous rules of the BB ownership and management.

We went to boxing bear with our family and our friends ( as we have done soooo many times before) , a total of 4 adults and 4 children. There was nowhere to sit inside or outside so we sat in their little "banquet" room. We pushed two tables together and were perfectly happy with this situation. There was one other table being used in the whole room. We got our beers, our food and were having a great time. After a while, a staff member walked up to us , no greeting or hello and rudely said "so yeah you can't push tables together in this room" after some confusion and back and forth with the person they said we were not allowed to move tables together in the banquet room to avoid "large parties taking over". We said we understood but there was nowhere else for us to sit, and after we finished we would move the table back etc.. but they stood there and said yeah ok but you can't move tables together so you need to move them back immediately and made us get up , move our children, move our food , and move the tables back. It was embarrassing , rude , and quite frankly ridiculous. We had to spend the remainder of our beers and dinner sitting at different tables. I get their logic behind not wanting to lose revenue by people just showing up and taking over that back room... but it was completely empty when we showed up and we truly only sat there because there were no other tables to accommodate 8 people.. it was wildly confusing. There were zero signs inside the room stating we couldn't move tables etc ..Anyways - we honestly won't be taking our families back there , we will go to the other nice breweries in town that employ kind people. I'm a total rule follower, and get that businesses have policies in place , but the entire interaction with the employee was extremely disappointing.
