Basic chain restaurant experience. Food was acceptable. Service was decent. Just not my jam. I don't like that you can't order individual meals. Everything is served for 3-5 people. Makes it tough when you have a group of 4 with varying interests. LOTS of food for the $$$ if that's your thing.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner for our daughter's 23rd birthday. The 4 for $49 deal was spectacular. Wonderful value for the tasty food. They were gracious to accommodate my good allergy. Our server was wonderful and knowledgeable about th3 food and style of dining. We will be back again very soon.
Thankfully they have finally hired more than 2 servers, that made the visit more enjoyable. The women's restroom needs repair the stall doors do not lock and the toilets and sinks leak. The wallpaper is also peeling.
Worst experience. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. The lasagna came out cold. But the plate was hot. It was dry and gross. The bread had wayyy too much garlic on it because it had no flavor. The salad was actually decent. My waitress dropped our food off and never seen her again. Drinks were empty almost the entire dinner. I witnessed another waitress give away their plates to a customer because he asked in front of our table. I spoke with the manager and he didn't care about our service or his stuff getting stolen. Spent $125 for garbage. Never again will go back. That place needs shut down or new management and servers. Save your money. Go somewhere else.
Disappointing First Visit This was my first visit to Buca di Beppo, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. For the price point, I didn't expect beverages served in plastic cups and a small paper napkin set at the table. The menu felt overpriced, especially since basics like salad and bread were not included. The food didn't justify the cost, and with so many better Italian restaurants around, I see no reason to return. Even the exterior was unappealing —with dirty, faded plastic flowers lining the window boxes and flower beds. I came expecting a great evening and left with the impression that the restaurant did not care about providing a fine dining experience, which people would enjoy and appreciate.
salad taste old, food was slow and not great and the server was hard to catch to get boxes and the bill.
We made a reservation at Buca for the wine room. It was my birthday celebration and we always go to Buca for my birthday. This is the first year they said they could not seat us in the wine room. There were many tables available, it was not busy at all but they said we could only be seated in the bar area. Not a big deal but it definitely set the mood for the rest of our experience. Our server was horrible, she obviously did not want to be there. I ordered an Italian Margherita, i get one every year and this is the first time it has tasted horrible. It came in a glass about half the size from previous years and it tasted like salt water. An Italian Margherita is supposed to be a sweet drink and it did not taste good at all. Their lasagna is also very bland. We did enjoy the chicken parmagane and the spaghetti with meat sauce. Unfortunately, we ordered the mozeralla bread and it was served cold, it looked like bread from a previous day that they took out of the refrigerator. There were very few people in the entire restaurant and we had to wait a long time for our server to get our order, get our check and be waited on. And when she did come to our table she had the worst attitude. Very disappointed in Buca :(
So a reservation at Buca de Beppo isn't a traditional reservation. My 7: 45PM reservation was basically a designated time for me to check in and get on a wait list for 45 minutes to see if any seats were available. Don't call it a reservation. If it's not a reserved time and table for your patrons, call it a standby list. We left and went to Saggio's and had the Shrimp Arrabiata and the Baked Ziti. Coincidentally, the couple seated next to us had the same experience that evening at Buca.
Teenagers without reservations, this is your place! Adults who booked two weeks ahead of time, get ready to wait and watch the walk-ins get seated before you. To the young hosts at Buca di Beppo, ABQ, a reservation is more like a suggestion. We got there ten minutes before and waited an additional 25 minutes after. The food was okay, the server was great, and the food did come out quickly. The serving sizes were a smaller family style. Overall, the experience was frustrating and not the way I would have picked to spend Valentine's Day. We will not be returning.
Our server, Chris, was excellent but the restaurant was dirty. Watched the bussers “clean” the tables around but just used a rag to take food and debris off the table and onto the floor. It was pretty slow too. All of our original silverware looked like it was never washed but Chris fixed that immediately

The overworked server did her best, but there's only so much she could do. The restaurant was dirty and it's pretty clear there's little intent to maintain any semblance of quality. I get the family style model but there's no accommodations for smaller families of just 2. Very expensive.
We had a great Birthday celebration 🥳 our waitress was very kind and on top of everything 💜 we love Bucca for family celebrations of all kinds. Thank you and we will be back 🎉🎉❤️
Order spaghetti with meatballs got some dry up spaghetti and one small meatball don’t waste your money here

Food tasted old. Also, we ordered 3 separate appetizers, which were okay. The quality of food was terrible, especially for the price.

Birthday lunch celebration with a friend turned into a wonderful disruption of daily reality. Our server, Kimber, really took the time to bring comfort and enjoyment. I was uncomfortable at the chair/table setting and asked if we cook move to a booth and she politely said of course, moving our service settings to the new table with no hesitation. Then we ordered with a few special requests, not only was Kimber great with the order, the kitchen nailed every detail perfectly. Our food was massive in size which provided lots of leftovers. Plus with the Bucca Rewards we got an awesome gigantic brownie sunday served in a martini glass-like container for free and $20 off our meal. Bucca di Beppo, your kitchen staff and our server (Kimber) really did make a difference in celebrating with my friend. Thank you!
