Absolutely incredible! I arrived a little before they opened and the line was already forming...but it moved quickly and was well worth the wait! I ordered a variety of items and every one of them was amazing! Top bite was the loaf of banana bread with brûléed bananas on top The croissants were flaky, the sourdough was fresh and the cookies were perfectly sweet! This is a must try in ABQ!

My wife and I went to this bakery. Very good. Very long line but definitely worth the wait. We purchased 4 items to try. All were very good. We will return after the hype of James Beard dies down.

This was our first visit, and I was amazed with the quality of the drinks and baked goods. I tried the burnt honey latte, double baked almond croissant, and pecan sweet roll. It was worth waiting in the cold weather for. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
First time trying this place. At 9:00 a.m. there a line, but it’s worth the wait. Recommend the ham and cheese croissant: flakey bread, meaty ham, gooey cheese. The seeds on top give it a savory deliciousness. Also bought almond croissants and an olive bread loaf. Can’t wait to try them. Heads up, this is a to go place, not a cafe.
Gourmet eats and friendly service. I recommend people to try their Kouign Amann.

My first time there. The food was excellent. My baguette was so good I ate half before I got home. The banana nut bread was of equal quality. I will be back! This bakery is very deserving of the James Beard Foundation nomination.
My first time to get parties and cookies. A must place to try. There was a long line but it went fast. Service is outstanding!

Waited in line for an hour outside at 9:30am to try these pastries. They were good, but not worth waiting an hour in line for.Nothing was warm/fresh and tasted like it was made the day before (I had to microwave them for 20s as soon as I got home so they would be soft) They weren’t BAD, just expected warm & fresh pastries after waiting an hour in line and spending $100.

Great bakery/pastry shop. Be ready to stand in line - even at 8 on a Saturday, the line to order was about 20-30 minutes long. It's just a walk up window and they hand you your order a little later so it's easy to visit with pups.

As someone who lived in France, I wasn't expecting The Burque Bakehouse to rival French pastry--BUT THEY DO. And in some ways, they make more interesting products because they use local ingredients. Of late from the seasonal menu, I have adored the persimmon danish (fall) and the grapefruit danish (winter). From the usual, I love kouign ammann, cannele, and the green chile croissant. But really, you can't go wrong here.

Pretty much everything is good. My wife loves their cappuccino, and their red chile sourdough is delicious!
