Great vibe inside, I love all the plants! Both the service and food were exceptional. The soup was phenomenal on a cold day. I grabbed a Laurel Fog on my way out and that was delicious as well. Can't wait to go back and try more!

We came in a little before before they closed and as a first time guest here it was relaxing and the restaurant itself brought what I like in a local place. the owner was so nice and attentive towards us and our needs. She was patient and recommended some things. As a gm of several restaurants it brought a smile to my face. I highly recommend it.

Cafe Laurel has become a favorite neighborhood spot because the food quality is high, it's consistent and the restaurant is always clean. The vibe is bright and welcoming. The classic dishes they offer are top notch for the area and from that category I'd recommend the huevos rancheros. The specials change often and I've had life changing biscuits and gravy off the special menu. Highly recommend the Quiche options when available. Highlights: Tons of drink options, red chile, hashbrowns, veggie sandwich, Crepes(!), and the pastry glasses in the front
I think s $10.50 sandwich deserves better than a tiny BAG of potato chips added to the plate. At least open the bag, and put the potato chips on the plate so it doesn't look so cheesy. Also, please put 1,000 Island dressing on the Reubens. We couldn't find ANY!
