So, the vegan burritos are huge, and they are good, but I do wish the ingredients were a little fresher. You can order lime and cilantro for a fee, but you can’t taste it. They use beyond steak, fries, and two flavors of [censored]’ Sauce, which, I mean, you can’t go wrong, but it’s completely doable at home, for less money, and you can add salsa, fresh onion, lime and a healthy portion of cilantro… the perfect burrito. I’d like to see some fresh veggies without an extra cost. Some pico would be awesome.

These burritos are massive! Fresh ingredients. A vegetarian option and a vegan option. Friendly staff too. It's not fast food, so prepare to wait 10-15 minutes for a to-go order because it's made fresh.

Vegetarian options: They only offer 5 or 6 burritos, 1 being vegetarian and another being vegan.

In a city full of Mexican and New Mexican food, it is so great to have a new twist on some classics. The Asada Burrito was incredible and satisfied every craving. This is being added to our list of favorites for sure.

I ordered two vegetarian-style burritos: one was vegan with just veggies and vegan sauce, and the other was for my son, who prefers real cheese and sour cream. I arrived at the shop around 3:50 pm, completed my order by 3:56, and they didn’t have our two burritos ready until 5:30. I thought the wait was a bit excessive, but as I was waiting in the parking lot, I noticed a lot of people showing up, so they were likely handling online orders. When my meal finally came, the staff explained that they had to cook more veggies. When I bit into my burrito, I noticed it was very loosely wrapped, causing it to fall apart as soon as I opened the bag. The zucchini was undercooked, and the sauces made it really greasy with a strange aftertaste. The potatoes, however, tasted fine—as expected, since they’re usually a safe choice. It felt like they relied on potatoes as a fallback, rather than making an effort to highlight the veggies, which can be just as delicious as meat. Overall, my son enjoyed his burrito. The flavors were good, it wasn’t as greasy, and it had a more cohesive texture. I can see how keeping things simple might bring people back, but I was disappointed with the quality of vegan and vegetarian options, as well as the customer service. I checked this place out awhile back and ordered the asada burrito and asada fries. Both were great imo and they did not be stingy with the protein, guacamole, and salsa on both. I would def eat here again and better you would think. It’s a smaller place so expect to not have seating at times but I just pick it up and take it home so it’s not a problem for me anyway.

Cali Burrito is killing it! I was initially so sad when Last Call was going to close but to find out its just getting better was a relief! They are so sweet and attentive every time I'm there. While it may take a little time, one guy firing 12 tickets at a time is something to be proud of. Appreciate all that they do and a must stop anytime I'm on the West Side.

This place is great! The nicest most helpful cashier and cook, great happy vibes, and the massive burritos are amazing! Totally reasonable and menu seems customizable. Got a chicken burrito, a vegetarian, and a vegan to go, can’t wait to go back!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the asada fries @ Cali Burrito, and I was thoroughly impressed! After the previous business at this location closed, it's been difficult to find that authentic California flavor again. However, Cali Burrito EXCEEDED my expectations, especially with their delicious addition of guacamole to the fries! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even showing me how to sign up for their rewards program.
If you're in Albuquerque, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND treating yourself to what I consider THE BEST asada fries in the city. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Absolutely amazing! Food was so delicious and the service was top notch. Highly recommend and we will be back. You can tell the food is made fresh to order and you get a good amount for the price. We had the Carne asada fries, asada burrito and the tacos. No issues and the wait is what you expect for fresh food.
